BBB1My personal experience with Tomys started with the Thumbtack App. I hired the Company to fix/replace my garage door opener in *******. Unbeknownst to me, Tomys had a kickback scheme going with a ******* Company that was rated F by BBB. Presently they have charged me $2000 to replace the garage door opener only to return cause the light wasnt working and then damaged the opener beyond repair because the technician didnt know what they were doing. That Company with history of scamming customers in ** will not repair and I am out $ and still have a non-operational garage door due to a Tomys scheme to use this Company at my expense. Hire Tomys at your own risk.

Yelp5Our garage springs broke and Tomy was able to come same day and replaced both springs and pulleys, and complete proper maintenance on the garage door. Excellent service and explained everything as well. Would use again.

Yelp3They responded quickly and were here at my house within an hour so kudos for that. However once they arrived, he tried upselling me on things I didn't necessarily need like new springs, $100 to restring a wire etc. will see if the work holds up so a mixed review for this garage door owner.

Yelp5VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER :D The best service and quality of garage door, had my door fixed by Tommy, he came in as soon as possible installed a new door, i was just expecting an ok job but it was above and beyond my expectations on quality, speed, attention to detail and the best value for the price, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Yelp1He did came out promptly and was friendly and replaced the broken spring quickly. However his work was terrible. The repair was done at 2pm and the garage door broke again and stuck at 3/4 way closing at 10am the next day after using twice. It's a two-cars garage door and one of the springs was broken. Everywhere online recommends replacing both springs, but Tomy insisted that only one needs to be replaced. The door went off balance and the cable broke. We had to pay a high price to have the door reset besides the inconvenience of dealing with broken garage door two days in a row.

Yelp5Tommy was very honest and professional. He replaced the garage door opener and also inspected the existing spring, rails, door etc...He did not try to upsell anything. Simply charged for the necessarily parts and labor. If you want to avoid from someone who tries to mark up on materials or tries to convince you to replace the whole thing, I would highly recommend that you check out Tommy.

I was so impressed with his work ethic and his conscientiousness. I saved his info and may be replacing the entire garage door within the month of January and I will use this company again for sure.
