The technicians efficiently resolved the problem, and the service provided was satisfactory. However, I feel compelled to share a concerning experience regarding the pricing and the materials used. Initially, the technician proposed replacing all mechanical and door parts, quoting a total cost of approximately $2000. After declining, the revised offer reduced the cost to around $700. During the service, additional parts were suggested, raising the estimate to approximately $1100. Upon receiving the detailed invoice the following day, I was surprised to find an itemized list of materials and their prices. Curious, I compared these prices with those at Home Depot and discovered a significant discrepancy. The prices quoted by the company were approximately 10 times higher than the market rates. For transparency, I've compiled a list of materials used, the prices invoiced by the company, and the corresponding market prices: Material 1: Bottom Bracket Company Price: $100 Market Price (Home Depot): $20 Material 2: Extension Rollers (set of 10) Company Price: $230 Market Price (Home Depot): $87 Material 3: Bearing End Plate(Pair): Company Price: $150 Market Price (Home Depot): $25 Material 4: 7ft Cables (Pair):: Company Price: $150 Market Price (Home Depot): $10 My intention in sharing this experience is not to undermine the quality of service but to highlight the substantial difference in material costs. I advise future customers to exercise caution when considering purchasing materials directly from the company. Based on my findings, it seems more cost-effective to obtain materials from Home Depot or similar suppliers. In conclusion, while I appreciate the service provided, I suggest potential customers thoroughly evaluate the cost breakdown of materials before accepting any offers. Google5It was a pleasure doing business with Garage Door Doctor. James was very knowledgeable about all aspects of garage door issues, it was a pleasure working with him. He explained the problem in enough detail that I knew exactly what was wrong, and then continued with the repair options I had along with the cost of each. There was no high pressure sales, just the explanation and cost of each option. During the repair/replacement, he never seemed frustrated at the questions I asked and it was a pleasure getting to know him a little. I would not hesitate to use Garage Door Doctor again and would recommend them to anyone who has garage door issues. I was totally delighted with the repair, personnel and service from my first contact with scheduling to the completion of the work.

He was very knowledgeable, professional, provided many options towards fixing the immediate problem and addressed potential issues. To top that, the prices for each option was realistic and reasonable. While I have no relation with this shop, I can put myself out there to be contacted if you have any questions about the work that was done and the positive experience I outlined above. I am % satisfied and would recommend this shop to anyone who needs service to their garage doors. Google5What can I say. I thought the days of getting great customer and quality work no longer existed but my experience with Garage Door Repair exceeded my expectations. The CS rep who scheduled my repair over the phone was professional, courteous and patient. She answered all my questions and was even able to shrink the schedule window for the repair to avoid a potential conflict. As far as my technician, Byron, he was exceptional. He contacted me before arriving and arrived at the time he stated. He was very professional, courteous, and polite. He answered all my questions. He was very efficient in his work and most importantly knows what he is doing. My garage doors are now working perfectly and it was all done timely and at a great price. If Byron is a reflection of the company as a whole then this is a company that is doing things the right way and my hat is off to them. Keep up the great customer service. If you need your garage door repaired I would recommend this company to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Google5I had the guys from Garage Door Doctor come by to look at repairing my door. Service was prompt and very professional. They inspected the issue and gave me several options on the repair and didn't force the issue on what they would recommend. Explained the features and benefits to all options and I was able to make an informed decision of what I wanted. The repair was done in great timing. I thought it was gonna take all day. When they completed the job they took the time to walk through all the features and also programmed the car. I would give them a 10 Star (10x ) review if possible. Great work guys, highly recommended!

Google5Big thanks to Byron from Garage Door Doctor for servicing my 2-car garage door. Byron provided timely, courteous and professional service. Two garage door repair companies that I no longer consider as trustworthy had tried to make me believe that the garage door opener was on its way out whereas the door grossly out of balance (50 lbs instead of recommended 5 lbs). Even if in the end the intervention was more costly than I thought (had to replace the 10-year old torsion springs that could not be tightened without running the risk that one or both would break soon), I am ok to pay for service knowing that the real problem is addressed. With my trust in the service provided by Garage Door Doctor established, I also signed up for their worry free club membership.
