Google5The spring on our garage door broke at nearly 6 pm tonight. John was quick to answer the line, show up right on time, and provided excellent service! Professional answered all my questions and the cost to replace the spring though unfortunate wasn't unbearable and no extra or hidden fees in the cost, plus the speed in which he completed his job was astounding thank you so much John! Highly recommend!

Google5The wood that my garage door opener attaches too split and came off the wall. It was just resting on the spring. I texted John on a Friday night and he showed up at 8 the next morning to rig it so I could get my car out of the garage and use the door manually. Showed up the following Monday and had it repaired before noon. He has fixed other issues for me as well in record time. Cannot recommend this place enough, these guys are the absolute best!

Google5There are not enough stars available for John and Troy! These guys are awesome. I called on Friday morning when our door broke. John said "I'll be out in an hour or so". And, he was. He disconnected the opener, got the top panel which had popped off the tracks back in place so we could operate the door manually, and did not ask for a dime for the service. My wife was undecided about color (imagine that!), so John and Troy came out Monday with samples. Tuesday morning they called to say they were on the way, and that afternoon we had 2 new doors and openers. John set up the app on both of our phones and explained its use and options and programmed the codes for us. At the end of the day the price was exactly what was quoted; no ups, no extras, no fine print. And, it was exactly the pricing posted on their website which, in itself, is pretty remarkable. I cannot recommend John and Troy any more strongly.

Google5Called John set up an appointment to get a quote at 6:30 at night, he said he was around the corner and came over within 10 minutes. I'd been struggling with my Genie opener I installed, worked for a bit then stopped. Had been on the phone with Genie for hours multiple times. John found the problem in 15 minutes, fixed it and refused to take any money. Great service, good guy, knew his stuff and can't recommend highly enough.

Google5John came out as a second opinion today, after we had our springs replaced two years ago by a company no longer in business. Not only was John professional, he was honest and prompt. John was able to save us $800, which is huge, especially before Christmas! Thank you to John for your professionalism and honesty. I will be sure to use him if I ever need anything else done in my garage!

Google5These people are fantastic! From my initial call to the completed (to my satisfaction) job they were professional, courteous, responsive, and knowledgeable. We live in a townhome community and our garage door is almost 23 years old For a number of reasons it was starting to get stuck. Brandon showed up on time and made all the necessary adjustments in less than an hour. Best of all they offered to discount the service by $20 because we gave them canned goods and a box of dried pasta for a holiday food drive. I just thought that was the absolute coolest thing that any company I've ever had come to my home to service anything has ever done. I was completely blown away. Could not recommend these people enough.

Yelp2Communication, prompt service, and working with women are definitely not a strength for this business. They never once called or emailed me back (even with the estimate) until I got a man to reach out on my behalf. Kind of a bummer. It took them over 2 months to repair the garage. We ended up doing a patch ourselves after our cars sustained hail damage. When calling to ask when our ordered part would arrive, they never knew but were always "pretty sure" it would be on the truck next week. Again, this went on for 2 months. The techs themselves are great and did solid work. But the scheduling/estimate/ordering/customer service side of the business was super frustrating. Price was pretty standard. But, we'll definitely go with another company next time.

Yelp5This company did great work to install our garage door opener! We were having difficulty with the door not going up and down consistently so we made a call to have them come back and help us. Jack came and made our garage door track more secure as it was wobbly! (They weren't the ones who installed our original track) The cost is what we would have expected for a door opener but the service is outstanding. He was friendly, patient and efficient! We will recommend them to everyone!

Yelp5Two men from GDS showed up right on time and went straight to work fixing the garage door keypad. They also did a general maintenance service on the springs, rollers and hinges too, which I'd asked for as well. It had been 5 yrs. since it was last done. The keypad is 25 yrs. old. I'd replaced the battery, when it stopped working a couple months ago, but couldn't get it to reprogram for me. The remote and button for the opener still worked though, so I didn't call anyone to repair it until I was forced to. Last week, my youngest child got locked out of the house without her key, and we don't have one hidden outside anywhere either. She ended up calling a ride and went to her aunt's house, until I got back to town. I really shouldn't have waited so long, but it wasn't a huge problem. Since, I'd forgotten how to reprogram the keypad, and couldn't locate the instructions in my house either, nor online (YouTube, you failed me), and ll the maintenance was also needed, I called around for quotes from highly rated Yelp offerings. All the quotes were within $20 of each other, so I chose the company that was closest and could send someone today, with no extra charge. GDS did NOT fail me. Thanks GDS. I'm saving you in my Contact list, and highly recommending you.

Yelp5Super awesome service. Don, who's been with them for a while was so friendly and very quickly fixed the problem. Apparently, the technician who originally installed the garage door had forgotten a few things- and apparently he was fired. Don was on time and worked very quickly. He was in and out after fixing the garage door in about a half an hour. Amazing! Plus, he was so polite and willing to let me chat with him while he was correcting problems that the fired technician had forgotten to do or did incorrectly. That's not a smear on the company at all... it's good that they decided to let that person go and repaired the things that technician didn't do - at no charge. My garage is tricky, it doesn't have much clearance to install the door but just enough. Apparently, it's a home that was built at the YMCA and installed in this particular neighborhood. They are known to have very minimal in construction. Don even gave me interesting information on the neighborhood which was interesting and good to know. The door is fixed and good as new... no popping and banging and having to push the door to close it at the 1 foot level where it would stop. I am overjoyed with the efficiency and friendliness that came from Don. He's been there long enough to make the job look simple and almost automatic. Now, the receptionist, or whoever answers the phone is not as good representation of the company so don't judge them by her seemingly indifferent and dull attitude. If I were the boss, I'd let her go. That's my only gripe. Otherwise, this is the business you want to use! Look no further, you've found the right business.

Yelp5Let me start by saying that there are a lot of garage door scammers out there. I will admit that I fell for it at first. I got the coupon in the Money Mailer (direct mail coupon book), and thought I was going to get a great deal. The guy from the coupon came out. He was so aggressive. High pressure sales tactics, wouldn't tell me the model of the opener that he was going to install. He actually became a bit aggressive. I am a 40 year old man that stands 6'3" and weighs 240lbs. This dude was making me nervous. I finally showed him to his truck and told him to get the f**k off my property. Had my wife or mother been confronted with these tactics, I am not sure how it would have gone. Called a good friend who is a local HVAC guy and he recommended Garage Door Systems. I called them up. Got an appointment the next morning. They came out and were beyond professional. The service technician quickly diagnosed my problem, gave me some options in terms of features of the system etc. I selected the one that I thought would best suit me. He pulled the product off the truck, adjusted my door, installed the new equipment all the while he carried on a wonderful conversation. He finished, shook my hand and went to his next appointment. All told, I had a true professional in my home that repaired my door and replaced my equipment for less than 1/3 of Mr. aggressive coupon guy quoted me. I will never use any other garage door service company other than Garage Door Systems. Hands down the best customer service and value experience I have had from a service company. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Yelp5We've called these guys every time our garage door stops working right and every time they come out, they're friendly, professional, efficient, and honest. We've had a lot of situations where it would have been easy for them to sell us things we didn't need. Instead, they've fixed the problems with know-how and expertise instead. You can bet your bottom dollar that when our garage door does finally fail beyond repair, they'll be the ones that get the job to replace it.

Angi2Installed mid Feb 2021 and we are still waiting for trim to be installed along with a replacement panel for one door. Opener needs adjustment as the door comes down hard. Have made numerous calls--tired of asking them to come out and finish the job. Unfortunately, we should not have paid in full, until work was completed. Will not hire again. Services Rendered: We ordered two garage doors, along with one new garage door opener.

Angi5A spring broke in my garage door. I called garage door systems. I had both of the springs replaced. They replaced them and adjusted the chain. He also installed a high vibration tolerant light bulb. He set the four remotes. It was $90 labor. He came on time. It was $50 + tax for each spring. Services Rendered: He replaces springs in my garage door.
