I ordered a new garage door 0n 10/31/2023 and paid the total amount due at that time through ******. I was advised that the door would need to be fabricated and to expect a call to arrange for an installation appointment. I was told the entire process would take 4 to 6 weeks. At the 5 week ***** I called the ****** phone number that was given to check on the status. The automated message said that the door was fabricated. I received no call regarding an install date so I made a trip to ****** to find out what was going on. I had to wait 20 minutes to speak with a floor manager. When he was available he was helpful. He gave me the phone # to what was the ****** customer **********************. The rep was extremely helpful in advising me that the door was not created and, in fact, had not even been ordered by ***** ******. Apparently, ***** ****** is always behind on orders. In addition, the order for my door was in a pile of orders that had been ignored because they weren't certain about the exact configuration needed & no one would make a decision. My C/S rep asked for attention and the man there had the order placed. I received a call 2 days ago that the door would be ready on January 9, ****. Then, I would have to arrange an install date. The 4-6 week original plan was a lie. I am incensed about my treatment and let the most recent caller know that. This reflects badly upon ****** and I hope they know that.

W-D initially installed our garage door approximately 7 years ago. On March 15, 2022 the door would not open. They repaired the door on March 16, 2022 and charged us $345.00. On April 14 (29 days later) the garage door again failed to open. Our cars were trapped in the garage and we were virtually held captive. We contacted W-D and they said that would come and fix the door, but not until SEVEN days later. They said that they were "busy." We had no choice but to contact another door company who came out immediately and fixed the door, freeing our cars. We contacted W-D asking for a refund of our $345.00 because their repair failed, They refused to refund a single ***** because they said that they intended to fix the door 7 days in the future. We will never use them again because their work is inferior and they offered and unreasonable and unacceptable solution.

The technician checked the operation of the door and springs. The only thing needed was lubrication of the rollers, tightening screws and adjusting tension on the opener. It took about 15 minutes, and I was only charged for the service call. Services Rendered: Tuned up garage door

much more modern doors. Salesperson Mike Kiscaden came out, provided several estimates, left color swatches, and showed lots of pictures of available choices, with and without small glass windows at the top. We then got a couple of other estimates, and chose Wayne-Dalton. Kiscaden provided us an upgrade on metal wheels and better springs at no additional cost. This was all special order, since we did choose glass windows, an insulated door Three weeks later another Mike came to install everything. Took down all of the old hardware, springs, wheels, supporting metal, etc. It turned out that the previous owners had installed a wooden storage area at the front roof of the garage that stood in the way of installing the new, much more modern, higher hanging doors. Mike called the office, and they sent out another man to help Mike remove the overhead storage area. It took them an hour together, and Wayne-Dalton charged me a total of $75 for the take down and removal! Doors are beautiful, they work so quietly, and everything was finished and cleaned up within 5 hours, including the storage removal. Mike, the installer, was great. Likewise sales rep and their office. HIGHLY recommend them. Services Rendered: Took down very old garage doors and all hardware, took down wooden storage space at the top of the garage that was in the way, and installed two new garage doors and applicable equipment.

The repairman showed up in the time period stated by Jeff. The springs were replaced and the door was alligned and lubricated. The door works like new. I installed this custom door by Wayne-Dalton when we built the house in 2002. I also had custom Wayne-Dalton garage doors installed in our new homes in Michigan before I retired and came to Rio Rancho, New Mexico, in 2002. Services Rendered: On the phone Jeff spent time to walk me thru various diagnosis steps to identify the problem with our garage door. The problem was narrowed down to bad springs in the door with nothing wrong with the electric garage door opener. The door was the problem and would only partially open? The repairman showed up at the agreed upon time, and replaced the springs on the garage door. He aligned the door, set the electronic chain, and lubricated the door. It works like new!
