We use Overhead Door of Amarillo for all of our garage door needs. I was changing he light bulb in one of our openers and looked over at the springs and noticed one spring was stretched out and not consistent with the coils on the other springs. We sent picture to Rhett and in about 3 hours two technicians were at our home. Jeff and Jared explained how we should convert our 30 year old (2) extension spring system to the current single torsion spring system for smoother operation.(BTW the price was pretty close for either system) They did a great job converting the springs in about an hour. The door opens and closes smoother than it has in years. Thank you Jeff and Jared for your professional service today.

Our door quit working - Overhead Door Company of Amarillo installed the door for us so I called them to come fix it but was told they wouldn’t drive out here to fix it because we weren’t in their service area - to call Lubbock. So I called the Lubbock Overhead Door Company and was given the run around from them also. I dont recommend this company because they don’t want to service their customers

Contacted Overhead Door Company when my door failed. I (mistakenly) thought they had installed the door 3 1/2 years ago. I was stressed because I was due back at work. The man I spoke to remained calm as he investigated and told me they had no record. I looked further and discovered I was wrong. I asked them to send someone to repair the door. The technician arrived within 30 minutes and completed the repair in about 30 minutes. Additionally he serviced all the moving parts to insure everything was in order. I cannot say how professional these folks are, even when dealing with a difficult client. That says something! I will recommend them every chance I get and will continue to use their services when I need.

Our garage door decided it wanted to close at a slant, and then not close at all late at night. I was referred by my parent's and called the next morning. Within a few hours, maybe two, and only due to being on another call, Jeremy was at our house. I was surprised someone was able to come out due to being so close to Christmas (days before), and even on the same day. About 45 minutes later our door was fixed. Jeremy was kind, told me exactly what the problem was, showed me what was happening, and gave pricing before fixing anything.

Best garage door company in town! And great customer service! Called and asked some questions had a guy come out to do an estimate and 2 days later had the install, it was fast and these guys where great!! If you are a first responder they give great discounts, and if you want the best customer service in town this is the place! I called to schedule a garage door repair on Thursday of last week. I was confirmed for Friday. I worked from home and called several times to check the status. The only information I received was "sometime later". I did call the 806-372-5884 number. I waited until 5pm and then requested a quote/call from Dockins Overhead Door. They called me within 2 minutes, scheduled me for Monday and gave me a 2 hour window of when to expect them as well as pricing. I still haven't heard from Overhead Door Company. Go with a company that actually values your time and money- call Dockins. Services Rendered: Garage door repair

Very prompt response, was able to get a price quote on the phone by giving them the door dimensions. Got the door installed within 2 -3 working days, they found some needed carpentry work to shore up the jambs and called me before proceeding, Added only $100 additional to estimate. I had an old wood single car garage door replaced with a new metal one. The quality of work was excellent, my only complaint was that the worker(s) did not clean up well, left bolts and pulleys on the garage floor, unscrewed a push button from the wall and left it hanging, left part of the old garage mechanism and spring hanging from the rafters, moved items in my garage and did not put them back. I reported this to the company afterwards, wasn't too impressed with their response. I would recommend Overhead Door and would use them again despite the poor cleanup. Services Rendered: Installed new garage door.Dispose of old door and rails.

Called and talked to the owner. explained the problem. the double garage door at my home wouldn't open or close properly. he gave me a date and estimated time for a technician to come and take a look. explained the charges (minimum of $79.00 (?) for the service visit which would be credited to any additional costs for parts or labor. The technician was on time, called me with the estimate, I gave him the go ahead and he had the work done within a day. These folks were friendly, polite, and did exactly what they said they would. Services Rendered: removed and replaced torsion spring assembly for the double garage door, adjusted the automatic opener to operated correctly with the new assembly

The sales rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. The company had been in town for a long time and had a good reputation, was competitive on price and had done some repair work for me previously. They showed up on time, were very organized and meticulous with the installation and demonstrated all functions to us. I was surprised the bill was $400 higher than the estimate, so the installer called the supervisor for me. My discussion with him revealed I had requested and received an estimate for an un-insulated door, but they had installed an insulated door. They gave me a discount for the mess up and I was so pleased with the new door construction and installation, I felt I got a good deal. The next day, the door failed to operate, and the repairman came out very quickly and found a hidden problem with a rope during manufacturing. It was corrected and tested within 30 minutes and the door has operated well ever since. I sold the old door and operator and the installation crew helped load the old door on the buyers trailer and advised him how to install it. Services Rendered: Removed old overhead garage door and operator and installed new insulated door and operator.
