Would only recommend IF you are fortunate enough to have Tanner Mullins help with your issues. Very disappointed in the difference between the info received during initial call and the reality of this business. Tanner, exhibited integrity in a gracious manner, and is an exceptional representative for this company. He made 3 trips to my home to repair an issue. 5 stars for Tanner and honestly 2 might be 1 too many for Hometown. Choose another ValPak coupon from your pack.

My 17 year-old garage door opener failed just days before the movers were to show up to pack my home for a move. Ash, the tech, came over within a few hours of my call to Hometown Garage Door. He went over the entire system, and we decided that after 17 years of use it was time for replacement. Ash came back as scheduled the next morning and installed the new unit. He was professional, helpful, explained everything thoroughly. I recommend Hometown enthusiastically (I’ve called them before for problems) - they’re responsive, professional and cost-conscious.

I called Hometown Garage Doors of Asheville after receiving a flyer from them in the mail to come and check out a problem I was having with my garage door not opening properly My door and motor are about 18 years old. I was given an estimate ranging from over $1700 to almost $4000 to fix it. I was told I needed at least a new motor, new springs, new rollers and other services to fix the problem I called another local company to get an opinion They completely fixed my problem in less than an hour with just a service and maintenance. NO PARTS were required and my door is working better than ever. Total cost to fix was $132. DO NOT EVER USE HOMETOWN GARAGE OF ASHEVILLE AS THEY ARE LIKELY CROOKED AND TRIED TO GET ME TO PERFORM UNNECESSARY SERVICES that would have cost me at least $1600 MORE THAN NECESSARY STAY AWAY!!
