Yelp3Firstly I know it's 100+ out there, why I set up a fan for the tech and gave him a cold drink. He did a good job till he put one of the hinges on wrong. The top was where the bottom normally was. So hinge and wheel where out of alignment. When he open the door it ripped the spot welds and folded the edge of the door. The tech told me that was now a weak point and at some point it will give. The tech did put extra holes in the hinge and door with extra screws to try and secure the hinge to the door better. (Before this the hinge had 2 screws in top 2 in bottom) I understand it's convenient to be able to drill a screw into sheet metal and it hold. Compared to spot welding. So I called and spoke the the manager who said he would talk to the tech. 2 mins later the techs calling back, 3 at my door. I explained my concern and how he had said it was a weak point and at some point it will give. The techs reply was oh no I didn't mean that. It's actually stronger now than it was before. And then went around the door pointing how he could fit his fingernail between the weld. Which he wasn't doing. All he was doing was placing mail between the ends of the sheet metal that was spot welded 1/2 from the edge where his nail was. I suffer from chronic pain 24/7. So it's very difficult for me to do anything. The tech had to move a heavy cabinet to be able to do his job. If I could have done more to help than I did I would have. But the tech did not return anything back to where it was. So I now have to either try and move it myself and be in more pain. Or I'll have to hire someone to move it all back. Don't get me wrong the tech seemed like a nice guy, but he made a mistake which weakened my garage door. Im not looking for anything other than the mistake to be corrected. And what was moved returned to where it was. I was able to fit my car in the garage. Not now, I really hope no more hail storms. Up till this point I haven't heard back from the manager. The tech left insisting he was wrong when he told me it was a weak point. And that the door is catching somewhere and how you should be able to move the door up and down with 2 fingers. Which I can't door below or above where he said it was catching. Oh and don't forget when testing the doors movement at first the tech was standing close to laser beam and kept shutting it lol. Turns out I didn't call this company directly. They were hired by a third party. Who called me To ask how they did. Oops lol The invoice doesn't show this company's name but does show a Phone number that traces back to this company. 737-283-3555 The tech replaced all 10 wheels, re ran the right sides wire that had come off, and then rebalanced everything. And my bill was $600+ not sure just how well that compares to others so can't say if it was value for money or not. Invoice shoulder $200 for 10 x long stem wheels. Which is what maybe $35 on Amazon.

Yelp1After having searched for a garage door repair service in my city, I was directed to what seemed like a local company. I wanted to give business to a local service in my small town when my garage door came off the tract. The technician they sent out was very pushy, demanding, and upped the price after finished trying to sell me on more work than was necessary. I reluctantly paid the original fee as I needed my garage door to close before that evening. The next day, the sensors were no longer working when they worked just fine when Elijah the technician left. I called the company and immediately got a text from Elijah reprimanding me for calling the company and not contacting him directly instead. I ignored his text and called the company back saying I didn't want him coming to my house and to send a different technician. A few hours later without any warning, Elijah returns to my house and tells me that my sensors need to be completely rewired and replaced. When I told him no and to leave, he got further aggressive and said he came out of his way to my house and I wasted his time. I told him that wasn't my problem and to get off my property. My young children witnessed this and were frightened. After he left, I reached down and realized that he had purposefully misaligned the sensors. I realigned them in 10 seconds and called the company to tell them about his maliciousness and they did absolutely nothing to help the situation. I then realized that the original website I had called from as a dummy website and this was a service that just takes calls from local website traffic to misdirect the consumer. They are based in a different city. The operator confirmed this. $1,000 later and I had to ask another company to come and they told me that it should not have cost that much and they left without charging me because they felt sorry I was taken advantage of. Please don't use this company!

Yelp5Fix N Go was an excellent company to work with. Someone answered our call the evening we called and was at our home between 8am-10am in Round Rock the next morning as promised. We received speedy, fair pricing , and excellent work. I recommend using Fix N Go to anyone.
