Google1I ‘ve work on a reach truck/forklift for over a year. I understand the requirements for barricading. I waitied very patiently because i knew what they were doing. 15 min go by when I saw them starting to wrap the package with saran wrap, I thought it would be the best time to ask if I could quickly snag a product in that aisle I knew it would take them a while to do, but it would only take me 10 seconds to grab the product. I was very rudely told in a stern voice. “You can wait until we are done. Give us five minutes” this might seem very normal but he yelled at me and it was not nicely said. He was upset. I watched him walk into the barricade and thought why not ask him quickly. There was this very calm and kind lady driving the reach and I did not want to impose at all! I was very kind and asked nicely if I could quickly grab the product. After this rude man told me no she very politely came up to me and said “I’m so sorry I didn’t hear what you” I began to tell her you are absolutely fine. I did not mean to interrupt your move. I just wanted to quickly grab a product while you guys were Saran wrapping your big move. I’ve lived in this city for 10 years. I felt like a did something wrong. He was very rude and loud. This is why Home Depot had a bad rep.

Google3I mostly have had great experiences with employees at this location, I have always found great buys. However yesterdays experience with an employee at the self checkout who must have been having a bad day or something. I hope i never have any similar experiences at this store or it maybe time to shop elsewhere.

Google1I bought a couple hundred dollars of lumber yesterday with a 10% off mail coupon using my HD card. The discount should have been $27. For some reason the cashier applied the coupon to only the box of screws which gave a $3 discount. I didn’t realize this until after I left the store. So just beware if your shopping and using a coupon.

Google1The guys in the lumber department could care less about your time. One guy in front of me was waiting over 45 minutes just to get one board. No apologies whatsoever from the guys working there. Just a terrible look on their faces. Lost my business. Hire better. Train better. Do better!

Google5The difference(s) in this Home Depot and Lowe's (particularly the one in Fultondale) were unbelievable. Everything seemed to be in it's proper place and not only were the employees attentive, they were able to provide us with helpful answers as opposed to simply saying, "let me ask my manager" or "I don't know". Great store, guys!!
