Needed to have 25 year old garage doors and motors all replaced. Went with a coworkers recommendation and went with Shumsky. Danielle was very responsive and answered all of my questions and showed me a lot of options over email. The process was easy as pie and “Cass” who is the owner was very friendly and I enjoyed talking with him. Product I ordered was in stock and time from first contact to installation was 1 week. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is a great company, as long as you do not need to call them back to have them to complete part of the requested work prior to paying the bill. I had no problem with the quality of the work, but was completely shocked by how rude and angry Cass was when he had to come back and fix the garage door . When I requested services from Shumsky I clearly indicated that in addition to the door shutting roughly there was also an issue with needing to hold down the button to get the door to shut. I feel that it was completely appropriate for me to request this be fixed prior to me paying the bill. I had to deal with an extremely hostile individual. His behavior was extreme and completely out of line. I have never written a review in my life, but when I told my neighbors how I was treated , they were shocked and urged me to write a review and report the situation to the Better Business Bureau. I hope this man gets help for his anger issues before he has a heart attack. For someone to show up to a job at 8am with the extreme attitude and argumentative behavior is very telling.

This company is phenomenal. Michael was not your typical contractor. He gave a rough quote over text and then actually showed up a day early, on a holiday!! Additionally, he was efficient and tidy. I only wish he did more than garage doors so I could hire him for other jobs around the house. A great company. Services Rendered: Replace extension springs and safety cables

I called quite a few companies as I wanted a HAAS garage door and they called me right back and came out to take a look to quote me a price. They worked with me on the price and came in the lowest around. The day of the installation the two workers showed up right on time and installed the doors and openers like true professionals. The were very neat, cleaned up afterwards and demonstrated how everything worked. It has been 4 months and I am very happy with the doors and the install. Services Rendered: I added on a 4 stall garage to my house and had them install 2 HAAS 710 garage doors and 2 Chamberlin 8355 belt drive door openers.

Mike was very responsive when asked to come out to the house for a quote. I knew I wanted raised panel insulated doors, however I was not sure about the make or model. Mike provided me with a couple of options, and within a week I made my decision and with a nominal down payment Mike placed the order. Once Mike received the equipment he contacted me to schedule an install date. His crew was able to come out for the install at 9:30am the following morning. 2 young gentlemen arrived about 10 minutes early and got right to work. Going none-stop, approximately 4 hours later the installation was completed.The new doors, tracks, motors, inside wall switches and outside keypad were all up. The installation of all the new bracktry, wiring and door hardware looks very well down, very solid and professional. I noticed no miss drilled holes or sloppy work at all. His crew also did a very thorough job cleaning up afterwards. The lead installer took about 15 minutes to show me every feature regarding operation and maintenance. They were both very professional and did a fantastic job. I'm also equally happy with the products themselves. The doors operate very smoothly along the tracks, while the motor is as quite as any I've ever heard. The seal around the doors when closed seems very snug and well done. The features include motion sensor activated lighting and manual switches to turn on or off the lighting and/or activate the doors. The remotes and outside keypad were all easy to program. Lastly the HomeLink feature also worked very well and was easy to setup in my vehicles, allowing me to leave the remotes at home. Services Rendered: Replaced existing garage doors and equipment. Sold me 2 HAAS Model 680 doors, 2 Liftmaster Model 8355 motors with remotes and outside keypad. Performed installtion of new, and removal of old equipment.
