Google5Jeff did a fabulous job restoring our entry door. It was weather beaten and faded. We had a different company work on it a few years before but were never happy with the finish. Jeff made the door look like new. Thank you Jeff.

Google5We had a lot of damage to the woodwork in our house after living there 20 years with dogs and kids. Jeff was able to get everything looking great again. I really appreciated his expertise and the way he worked with me to get the job done on a tight schedule.

Google1I cannot recommend Jeff. After sending him a picture of our door, we agreed to a price to refinish our front door. After waiting months he was finally available and we made an appointment. He showed up at our front door and muttered something about being tired of making only $500 a day while he was supporting “multimillion dollar lifestyles”. We are hard-working people and do not live a “multimillion dollar lifestyle “ whatever that means. Perhaps he needs to get into another line of work. He was very rude and offensive to us and turned and walked away without doing the work. Ironically, his website contains a picture of a door he has refinished, which is nearly identical to our door.

Google5Hiring Jeff to refinish our front door was a great decision. We got several quotes, and Jeff won us over with his experience, enthusiasm, and reasonable price. Once he started working on our door he worked quickly, but took time to explain the steps and tell us our options at each step in the process. He clearly wanted us to be happy with the result! Jeff is a cheerful guy, a pleasure to have around, and we love how our door turned out.

Google5Mr Albrecht was back at our HOA this month to refinish half our doors and do the annual oil application to the first half that were completely refinished last year. When refinishing, Jeff sands the doors down to bare wood, careful to get the corners and all the ledges around the windows. Then he conditions the wood and applies two oil finish coats. He inspected the doors he did last year; and he is very picky. If there’s any part of the finish not up to his standard he is going to sand and reapply two coats to that area if needed. I’m so glad we hired him. He is also very willing to teach you how to refresh your own door.

BBB5I have a large wood front door that is exposed to the hot summer sun and winter snow drifts. **** restored my weather-beaten door to Better than its original glory and has been maintaining it ever since. He is so easy to work with and always responds quickly and arrives right on time. After trying other companies, I'm convinced **** is the only one around who truly knows his craft and understands the characteristics of different *****.Summit Wood Door Refinishing gets my vote every time!

BBB1I don't recommend this company. **** was supposed to give me an estimate in 2020. He asked me to send pictures of my door which I did but he never responded. I got in touch with him and he said he would come to refinish my mahogany front door in July, 2021. He never showed or called and when I reached him have some excuse. He then said he would call me and reschedule when he was in Miami again. Didnt follow through. Then he said he'd do my door in May, 2022. I called him today and he made more excuses stating i said i wasnt interested. Not tr**. Then he said he was in Deerfield and would be at my house in 2 hours. I noticed a missed call and called him back. Asked where he was. His response "I came by your house and saw a bunch of cars and dogs. I dont work in downtown *****." Excuse me. I dont live in downtown Miami, I live in North *****. There was one car at my house and that was a repairman and yes I have res ** dogs but what does that have to do with you giving me an estimate on my door. He left without speaking or seeing me and said he didnt want to do the job. Thus was after keeping me hanging for almost a year and actually coming to my house but not stopping. He did a drive by. I trusted this guy but he has no integrity. May do great woodwork, but then I'll never know but he's unreliable and I get the feel he's only interested in doing work for rich people. I wouldnt recommend him, no matter how good his work is because he has no personal or business ethics. I feel he discriminated against me and am very disappointed. Find someone reliable and truthful. He is a liar and had no integrity.
