Yelp3I contacted this company as they had installed my overhead door when the house was constructed the service man who arrives said they are not overhead anymore. They are now Brunswick Garage Door. Confusing

Yelp1Overhead door sent a technician to replace our garage door springs. However, the individual only replaced one spring and cracked our door in the process. After several months of negotiating, Overhead door refused to repair the door or admit fault. Five months later, the unreplaced spring broke. We called Overhead Door because the springs are warranted for one year. The new technician informed us that we were billed for two springs but the previous technician only replaced one. He also informed us the previous technician had been reassigned to the warehouse due to numerous service issues. However, the company still failed to admit any fault in our broken garage door due the their incompetent technician.

Yelp1Called to get an estimate for repairs to my two garage doors. An estimator came out and checked out the problem told me what could be done and how much it would cost. She told me that someone would contact me to schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed. Never heard from them again. I had to call a different company (A-1 Overhead Garage Doors) to request an estimate. I expected a technician to call me back about meeting to provide an estimate. Rather than call me he showed up within 15 minutes, checked out the problem and repaired both doors right then within another 30 minutes. Great service from A-1 Overhead Garage Doors of Brunswick.

Yelp1I contacted Overhead Door Company of Brunswick's sales and service department on a Tuesday. I typed and sent them an e-mail explaining exactly what the problems were with my garage door. They said that they would give my e-mail to the repair staff. I had a single broken spring and a single broken drum and two frayed drum cables. They said they would be out on Thursday at noon, then I got a call late Wednesday that it would be Friday at 2 PM. OK, fine. My wife called me on Friday at 5:15 PM to say that someone had stopped by, only took 2 to 5 minutes to look at the Torquemaster One spring system that their company had installed. All he told my wife was that both springs were broken, he didn't have any springs with him and it would cost about $325 to repair. He was onsite maybe 5 minutes and didn't even see all the issues that I had e-mailed to them. These people have poor customer service skills, pricing is high and they don't seem to meet their own timetables. I found a free Torquemaster One spring installation manual online. Two new springs and two new drums with covers and cables cost me $112.00 directly from northshorecommercialdoor. Somehow Overhead Door Company of Brunswick seems to think that installing $112.00 worth of retail priced parts in a matter of 30 minutes to an an hour should cost $300.00, plus.

Yelp5Trustworthy and skilled. We have used them twice over many years and they do stellar work. In the first case, they solved a problem of a relacement for an odd- sized garage door at a fraction of their competitor's quotes. The door and its installation were excellent. Recently, a decade later, the door malfunctioned. In my experience, most repairs cause new ones: a headache. Fortunately we called Brunswick Overhead who made a relatively minor and inexpensive adjustment. Problem solved; no headache. They are prompt, helpful and reasonable. Save some wear and tear on yourself and use them.
