Google1They gave me an estimate on March 30th and told me they would be here at 8 am on Monday April 5th. Monday morning I waited in the driveway for them from 7 45 until 8 15, I cannot see the driveway from my front window, just street traffic.. When I called at 8:20 they said they did not remember which job I was. Then told me someone would be there as soon as possible. When I asked to be called in the future if they were going to be late, please. I was told they could not work with me. They would tell their worker, Manual, to come back and that I had not been waiting for them and they hung up on me. When I called back I got the same story. I have never had a problem with any company before. Certainly not before they started. No one wore a mask. We did wear masks. I was very confused.

Google1David is a very nice guy and when he actually does the work he says he will do it’s good quality. Unfortunately he was extremely flaky and unreliable. We had tons of work lined up for him which he knew about. We started by getting a pool fence installed (to keep a toddler safe) and he only completed 1/3 of the job in 7 weeks. He continually promised to show up and never did. Excuse after excuse. We were extremely understanding the entire time but eventually got sick of him not showing up and hired someone else to finish the job that he started. he also assured us many times that we were the only job he was working on yet he never had time to come. I honestly should have known that this was the kind of service we were going to get after he didn’t show up the first two times he was scheduled to for a consultation and then was late the third time. Really unfortunate because he is very knowledgeable and I liked him as a person.

Google5Dave at Ramapo Gate repair is absolutely great. Not only did he show up and fix our gate, he went above and beyond to make sure all other parts were working properly. We highly recommend him if you need a gate repair guy. Great job Dave! Thank you!!

Google5Please know that Dave is a very different contractor than what we encounter these days. He responded right away by phone to an issue we were having & then contacted me several times about our possible options. He then promptly came out to see us to better understand our problem, explain the issues & offer his best advice. He wasn't trying to sell us anything or talk us into anything! Truly a professional and he knows his stuff! He was great & I highly recommend him!

Google5Dave installed are new gate opener. After getting several estimates we chose Dave and I'm glad we did.I usually don't take the time to write a review but felt that this was well deserved. It's not often that you find a contractor that really care to make you happy and take pride in their work to do the right job.He did an excellent job I would highly recommend him to anybody.

Google5HIGHLY RECOMMEND. David did such an amazing job on our fence. He installed a wood fence, a chain link pedestrian gate, AND put our playset together. Everything is great quality. He was very responsive and kept us updated on every step of the construction. We couldn't ask for a better contractor. We will be using him again for future projects.
