BBB1Horrible experience with Hicklin Door Services today, 6-9-23. A spring on an overhead door needed replacement. The exact same service was performed a year ago (5-9-22) for $159.43. Today's service was $512.53. This is price gouging at its most obvious. 320% of the prior charge! There was little choice but to go ahead with the service because Hicklin had failed to arrive for service as scheduled yesterday - i.e., my car had been locked in the garage for two days. I inquired if the technician's salary had doubled, at least, since a year ago. He confessed it had not. When I asserted that price gouging would erode Hicklin's business and reputation, the technician said my complaint is "no sweat off Hicklin's back."

BBB5Was having trouble with door opening slow the tech repaired problem and replaced the light socket that wasnt working on garage door opener and did a big favor for us and reprogrammed are key pad so we could use it.
