Google5If I could give more than 5 I would!! Great customer service! We moved to the area recently and our new home had a dated garage door opener and wasn’t closing! Within 24 hours we had a brand new system, openers and new technology that allows you to close the door within an app! Love it so much! Thank you to Deric Powell and his amazing team!! Professional and highly recommend!!!

Google2This was a 5 star experience until today. A relative accidently ran into our garage door, and they were very quick getting out to our house to make it usable again until parts could be ordered. The door replacement was seamless. They replaced it while we were at work, and everything worked and looked so much better then before. Customer Service was top notch, and communication was effective. Or so I thought. I paid for the replacement door without delay, and thought I was paid up. However, I forgot about the initial invoice for the repair making the door usable temporarily. I have 4 kids and a crazy busy life, which is why I appreciated them working with our schedule so well. Instead of sending a single reminder by email, text, mail, or a simple phone call..... we received a collections threat with 1 day notice. That's right, 1 day notice. See picture included, and was received on January 30th. 5 star experience up till today, when it turned into a fear-induced panic. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 at this point is because of the the clerk I spoke to getting it straightened out and dealing with my extremely irritated self. Seriously, who does this to a paying customer who had already paid 7 times the amount of the past due invoice??!! **edit to clarify in response to reply** I received 1 invoice by email on 11/7. That's it. It wasn't mentioned or addressed during any other interaction, in any form until collections threat was received by mail. I appreciate the apology and how swiftly it was resolved. My hope with this review is that the process and way it is handled is updated so this doesn't happen to someone else.

Google5Service tech took 10 minutes to clean my keypad remote and got it working. FREE of charge! Was planning on having to buy a new one...pleasantly surprised!!! Highly recommend the drive to see these folks

Google5Called late yesterday and got scheduled for this morning. Bill showed up and promptly fixed the broken cable and replaced the original sensors that had been giving us trouble and the bottom roller wheels which had a bit of rust after 20+ years of service. Bill was so nice and professional.

Google5We had a really interesting part of our garage door break suddenly. The team was able to come work on it within 24 hours of my ticket being submitted. It took multiple technicians and some troubleshooting to find the right part, but it was fixed that day. They even lubed up the chain when they realigned it. I was really happy with the cost, it was a good value for all of the work we needed.

Google1Thieves. The technician that serviced our overhead door motor replaced the LED bulbs we had installed with standard filament bulbs. No big deal, except he kept our LED bulbs instead of giving them back to us. That is theft! We called the company and all they said was, "The technician is sorry." No attempt to correct the situation. Never using this company again.

Google5I was contacted within a couple hours of submitting a service request online. Appointment scheduled for next day. Jim came out and did what he does as a garage door guru. Amazing. Issue was fixed very quickly and I was very happy! Thank you Jim and Overhead Door! Highly recommended.

Google5The cables on our garage door snapped in the middle of the day unexpectedly. I didn't call until after hours but they still offered to have someone out ASAP that night if I needed to get my car out. I declined because it wasn't an emergency and their repair guy was still out first thing the next day. He was super nice, explained to me right off exactly what was needing repaired and had the work done in under 20 minutes. They were just super prompt and professional.

Google5I had a broken spring and wanted a subpar opener replaced. Send Overhead an email on a Sunday afternoon, had a response Monday morning and installation took place Tuesday morning. The customer service was excellent. My technician was Aaron S. He was great. Felt like he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the installation process. I absolutely will be using Overhead Door again with any garage door needs. From the beginning of the process to the end they exceeded my expectations. Appreciate their help getting our issues taken care of.

Angi5I called Overhead Door immediately. The staff was prompt and courteous, calling twice to confirm. Mike, the service technician, was professional and skilled. Mike solved the issue quickly and also answered questions about key pad entry that proved beneficial. We will use Overhead Door in the future. Services Rendered: The chain fell off of the garage door opener and needed repairing.

Angi5We had a problem with the garage door opener not operating properly. I suspected that it might be the electric eye. After trying to adjust the eye and cleaning the lense, it still did not resolve the problem. Overhead Door Company of Cedar Rapids came over and rewired the system. A few days later we had the same problem with the door. This time Overhead Door came out right away and replaced the eye unit. There was a charge for coming out the first time but not for the second time; just a charge for the electric eye unit. I have used Overhead Door Company of Cedar Rapids before. They are always punctual, professional, and reasonably priced. Services Rendered: Garage door opener would not operate properly.
