Angi5Very happy with Steve Hover's work. He came the same day; when he realized he was running a little late, he was conscientious about calling and letting us know. He quoted us a reasonable price on a whole new door but didn't try to upsell us. He repaired the spring and installed new cable, pulley, and rollers in about 3 hours. He worked efficiently, explained what he was doing, and answered questions. We will definitely use his services again if we have any more trouble with the door. Angi5Steve called me on a Monday night and came Tuesday morning. He had to go to PA to get the spring, but fit me in between other jobs. He installed the new spring, adjusted the door, and lubricated the tracks and rollers. Services Rendered: The spring on my garage door broke and the door didn't work.

Angi5He was very good overall, he spent a long time explaining things when he came for the estimate and I never felt like he was rushing me or trying to pressure me into anything. We made an appointment for installation and he showed up on time and completed the work as expected. I really appreciated his attention to detail, and he took the time to show us how everything worked. The installation was clearly done by a professional and not some hack from a big box store. I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone looking for garage door work. Angi5It was wonderful. Steve came the first day to check the broken torsion spring, removed it and ordered a new one. He came back the second day with the new spring and put it on. He also checked and maintained the whole garage door, adjusted the screws, lubricate, etc., to make sure everything is working well. Very detailed oriented and careful. He did a wonderful job. Angi5Called steve on a sunday early evening around 6:30pm, he asked a few questions and asked if I needed him to come rightaway to get my cars out. He was prompt and arrived within about 30-45mins. He helped open the door so I could get my cars out. He said he could come back the next day to replace/fix the springs. I also wanted him to add 3 struts for the door. He said it would be 350$ for the spring, and 150$ for the 3 springs. Since he had already come, I asked him to just do the springs, since it seemed to be a little expensive. He then told me he could do the spring and struts for 400$ even. He came the next day and eplaced the garage door spring ( 2 springs) and added struts on the garage door. He used 2 new strust, however the third strut he added was a steel angle which did not go the entire length of the garage door!! When he came in the evening to collect the payment, I told him that is not acceptable. He claimed that was what he quoted the price for!!! I didn't want to argue with this person, paid him the money and sent him away. He claimed he will be back in a week to replace it with a regular strut -- you know what happens..... EDIT: 05/15/2015: Steve came back and replaced the third strut with a proper strut. Am happy with Steve's services. Services Rendered: Replaced the garage door spring ( 2 springs) and added 3 struts on the garage door.

Services Rendered: We called Steve to fix one of the garage doors that wouldn't close. He couldn't make it on that day but promised to come over the next day. It was snowing but he came and fixed the door right away. He changed the cable and aligned the door so that we could close it as it was snowing out. He came back the next day and stalled a new garage opener, pad and rollers on the middle door. He also changed the springs, installed new cable and rollers on the other two doors. . He is polite and knows exactly what he is doing . He leaves behind no mess. We really liked Steve's work. Thank you.
