Angi5Last year our garage door was having problems opening. I called several providers from Angie's list and decided with Expo because of the responsiveness and how professional the owner Steve was. He showed up on time, explained the issue and fixed the garage door. This past spring we were having issues(different ones) again and we called him again and he came out immediately and again fixed the problem right away. Then this past August, the door wasn't closing properly. My husband thought that he could fix it instead made the problem worse. Steve was on vacation and told us that when he returned he would let us know. The day after his vacation he came out the next morning. He saw the problem and again fixed it again. I would recommend him to everyone because he is professional, personable and does a GREAT job. Services Rendered: fixed the garage door.

Angi5Steve provided excellent service. He was punctual, professional and very knowledgeable. He was very detailed in explaining what the issue was with my opener and the options that were available to me. He replaced my door opener unit, sensors, wall/key pads in a couple of hours, and left my garage spotless. Steve took the time to examine my garage door and pointed out a couple of things to look out for that may cause problems down the road. Services Rendered: I had to have my garage door opener replaced.

Angi5Steve arrived on time and did the work in a single session. I did have a gap under the left and right side of the door because my concrete floor is a little off from the center of the slab. Steve was able to order me a larger seal for the bottom of the door to cover the gap. Very happy with the work done and the service received. Services Rendered: I was very happy with the service I received. I had a 2-car wood door removed and replaced with a metal door. Steve remove wood door, all the hardware, and hauled it away. Then installed the new door with all new springs and hardware. Door has been working great and I am very happy with it.

Angi5As stated above, my husband and I are completely happy with the sales, service and completion of our new garage doors provided through the efforts of Steve McKellar and his company, Expo Garage Doors, Inc. He was cheerful and neat, removing all of my garage door debris as well as any debris that collected due to the installation process. If I had to make a critical observation, it would be that he did not stop for a lunch break and more importantly, he made no comment about the aroma of the delicious chocolate cake I baked that day. Services Rendered: Steve McKellar arrived at my house on time and with samples to view. We discussed options for total garage door replacements. At no time did I feel pressured to purchase or upgrade from my original ideas. On the date of replacement Steve arrived on time and worked without stopping the entire day, completing the task. My husband and I were not completely happy with the location of some wires and called Steve to come back and redo them. He complied to our request quickly and without complaint. Our garage doors are beautiful and our new openers are just what we wanted. I highly recommend Expo Garage Doors for your garage door needs.

Angi5My garage door had the cables detached for some unexplained reason. I called Expo Garage to get an estimate for fixing it. I thought the springs had broken and therefore Steve gave me an estimate of $145, however once Steve came an assessed the problem it turned out that the springs were still in tact. Steve told me the job would cost much less. I was really thrilled and appreciative for his honesty and having the job done in less than an hour. I was really pleased with Steve's professionalism, his honesty, and most of all the price. Services Rendered: My cables had detached from the springs and Steve came in to re-attach cables, re-adjust the track and tighten the chain.

Angi5My garage door suddenly started opening only half way, even after I made sure the sensors were clean and clear and sprayed the rails and wheels with lubricant. I had to start manually opening and closing the door, which is a pain. I choose Expo Garage Door because it had excellent ratings on Angie's List and is located reasonably close to my house. I called Expo Garage Door on Thursday and talked with Steve. He was friendly, polite and easy to talk to. I wanted to get an estimate before I committed to the repairs. He asked me several questions but was not able to pinpoint the problem so we and set up a mutually convenient appointment for Saturday morning. That morning, he was delayed by a previous appointment and called to let me know, which I very much appreciated. He arrived when he said he would, inspected the door, reconnected it to the opener and gave it a try. I had been opening and closing the door manually for 2 days and much to my surprise, it opened completely. Maybe 2 days of manually opening and closing activated the lubricant - I don't know, but Steve went ahead and set up his ladder to take a look inside the opener. He made a couple of adjustments and explained to me what he was doing. He also talked to me about what other kinds of problems might develop over time which would require replacement parts and repairs. I will definitely call him when that happens. Services Rendered: Steve is super! He made sure the door was balanced and checked the sensors and the spring. He then adjusted a couple of screws that control the opening and closing force of the door and showed me where they are located. He told me a couple of things to look out for that may cause problems down the road. He had the door working again in about 10 minutes and didn't even charge me for a service call! Wow!

Angi5E-mailed the company on a Thurday evening. Received replies back late that evening with a time that he could show up the next day. He followed up with a call the next morning to let us know that he could arrive earlier than he originally told us - how often does that happen! Steve is a great guy, very professional and polite. He immediately went to work replacing the spring and went above and beyond by lubricating the tracks and system. He was done very quickly and the door is also much quieter now. I would use them again without question! Services Rendered: Replaced garage door spring.
