Google1My brother and I had a bad experience with an employee named Omar. He was of Hispanic/Latino descent. I have a Home Depot account and I had purchased plywood the night before to be picked up on Saturday. It wasn't ready when we got there and Omar was expecting my brother who is a senior citizen to help him lift those long flat pieces of plywood off the shelves. My brother is still working as a retired man with a PT job. He had no intention of working when he got there. Omar got mad because my brother told him he didn't come there to work, he got upset and said come get somebody else to help my brother, like it was his fault that he didn't want to do his work or get help doing it. He told my brother to shut his mouth. My brother let him know he wasn't afraid of him. And I felt the same way too. I didn't like him speaking to my brother like that. Management was called. Then a nice Caucasian man named Al, who saw us the night we purchased our items, vouched that we were telling the truth. He also, helped my brother and I load the plywood in our U haul truck. I felt embarrassed for me and my brother.. We never had an encounter like that before. I see why President Trump is doing what he is doing. Just wanted to let you know how me and my brother, who are African American, and Senior Citizens, felt in this day and time and the fact it is Black History Month. Nothing has changed. ๐ฑ๐ท๐๐

Google5As a project manager for a GC, I spend quite a bit of time in different stores in different cities in the area. Today I was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service provided by Mrs Q at the Wendover store. I had multiple transactions for customer service to take care of, and she handled each one with a genuine smile. Return and price adjustments to match the advertised sale price at time of purchase, she was pleasant to deal with. This seems trivial I know, but customer service in retail has declined greatly, generally speaking. In a world of negativity, I think letting someone know how they positively impacted your day. So thank you Mrs Q

Google1Sharing my experience January 21st, 2026. While there were overwhelming circumstances in preparation for the winter storm arriving into the area, I placed an order online for pickup. I paid in full, received confirmation and order number. When I went to pick up the item at this location, was told the item was not there and sold out. Of course I was given a refund immediately. The Home Depot system failed. The customer service representative was very professional offering their apologies, but this was a complete waste of time. I'm certain I was not the only one affected in this manner and hope Home Depot's corporate - website department looks into resolving for future customers and sales.

Google1I come to this Home Depot often, and the staff at this location is completely unhelpful. Nobody ever knows where things are (even when HD's website says there is stock at this location), they are not friendly / don't want to be bothered with questions, and cannot provide any information on how certain products should be used or applied in home projects. Always dread going here.

Google5I purchased carpet from this Home Depot. I'm rating this store solely on my experience with Princess in the flooring department. She was very polite, followed up professionally with multiple call backs, and made sure that all of my concerns were addressed. Again, Princess did a great job and I would highly recommend her if you need assistance with carpet and/or other flooring types.

Google5My dad has been working for a Home Depot location outside of Charlotte, since 1996. During my visit to this location today. I felt like I was back home , visiting my dad at work. Everyone I came into contact with was nice & helpful! Just like he is with his customers! Especially those that request him specifically due to his customer service . Google1I came into Home Depot to pick up a DoorDash order and asked for assistance. I was directed to the customer service area, where two employees, Lisa and Ben, were present. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. We were not greeted properly, and neither employee seemed willing to help. When I went to Ben, he sent me to Lisa. When I went to Lisa, she sent me back to Ben. This back-and-forth went on, and we ended up waiting 10โ15 minutes for what should have been a quick and simple pickup. Both employees came across as nonchalant, with no sense of urgency to assist customers. I recommend improving customer service in this area by ensuring employees are trained and motivated to help promptly and respectfully.
