Google5I needed a new motor (old one broke on my garage door) and several neighbors recommended Overhead Door Company. Yulien and Matthew did an OUTSTANDING job. They were very competent and I felt very comfortable with them. They also weren't pushy about getting a whole new door. They definitely have me as a loyal customer! Great job guys!

Google5My garage door was not working properly and, when I called, the woman who answered the phone was so helpful and walked me through the steps I needed to take to fix it. That’s the only interaction I’ve had so far with the company but it was very good and hopefully indicative of how they do things in general.

Google5I found out at about 12:30am while taking trash out that my garage door was no longer working. It looked like the spring had broken. I contacted Overhead Door first since it was suggested several times on the post I posted on Next Door . I loved being able to talk to an actual person! She was sympathetic and very pleasant on the phone and let me know they were booked but still offered to send someone out to help me open the door to least get my vehicle out of the garage so I could get to work. While here, the 2 gentlemen said it would be easier to take a little time to just fix it rather than try to book another date as they were pretty busy with a few people out sick. They finished up quicker than I expected and even put some new bulbs in for me. Absolute STELLAR service! They definitely helped turn my morning around! HIGHLY recommend! :)

Google1Called them because the original installation was done by them . Several issues have needed to be addressed over the last few years 1- door did not disengage when trying to open manually . The angle of the arm needed to be fixed for successful disengagement. No reason to charge me for that when the problem was with original installation 2- garage opener started malfunctioning last winter- always malfunctions in severe weather . They came and charged me a fee for reprogramming the door , while blaming the issue on faulty gfci… the outlet was changed and the door continues to malfunction every time there is severe weather , and I am able to reprogram it myself the next day . Instead of blaming it on a faulty outlet , better attention needs to be paid to see what is wrong with the motor on the garage door opener . I will no longer be using services of overhead doors

Google5Overhead Door replaced my old garage door which didn't seal properly and had inadequate safety measures that had been installed incorrectly for decades. I felt the price I received for the new door (double faced, insulated), all new garage door track, torsion spring, and labor was extremely fair. The crew was done in 4 hours with the replacement. The door is secure and seals tightly against the opening.

Google5Highly recommend. 100% customer service. We had three garage doors serviced and maintenanced: one broken spring replaced, three weather striping seals replaced. The crew of Sam and Yulier arrived on time, worked efficiently and answer all of my questions. I even had the transponder activated in my car; now I can open the garage door from my car without a remote.

Angi1I called Overhead Door on Monday 6/1 at about 4:55 p.m. to report a problem with my garage door. An answering service took my call and a tech called me back to say that he would put me on the schedule for 6/2. Almost noon on 6/2 no one had arrived at my house and I finally talked to someone in the shop who said he would put me on the schedule for the morning of 6/3. The morning of 6/3 a technician did come to my house and told me that my door's spring was broken, I shouldn't use my garage door, and he didn't have a spring to fix it but he would surely be back that same afternoon or the next day. I heard nothing more that day so the next day, morning of 6/4, I called the shop again and was told the earliest I could get an appointment to fix my spring was Monday 6/8 (ONE WEEK since I reported the issue!!!). I said that wasn't acceptable because I couldn't lift my garage door by myself. The guy transferred me to another guy who said ok, he could have a tech to my house the afternoon of 6/5 instead to fix it. About 12:30 p.m. on 6/5 a tech called and said he would be here in 15 minutes. An hour later he still wasn't here. The Overhead Door Company of Fort Collins has presented TERRIBLE customer service!! I can't believe the run-around I've gotten just trying to get my spring fixed, and my garage door was previously installed by Overhead Door! I have now gone to another overhead door company for a same-day repair. When I called that company someone answered the phone right away, said he'd be out this evening, and said he would bring enough springs to ensure he could fix our door tonight. I will never recommend The Overhead Door Company to anyone and will tell everyone I know not to use their services!! Services Rendered: Overhead Door did not show up as promised twice to fix my garage door spring so I ended up using another provider.

Angi4Steve, the technician called ahead and asked if he could come EARLY. He was very proffesional and explained exactly how to use all the remotes and keypads. He explained how everything worked and walked through all the bells and whistles of the unit that he installed. It was a Very good experience and enjoyed doing business with them. The only problem was that the salesperson didn't tell him to bring enough door seal trim and he will have to come back to finish that, next week. Otherwise everthing went perfect. Services Rendered: Installed new garage door opener & keypads. adjusted & lubed complete door.

Angi5The technician arrived within the given time window (were only given morning or afternoon as options). He immediately found the source of the problem (broken spring). He didn't have a large enough replacement spring but he consulted us and picked one up. The installation went quickly and smoothly. He also lubricated the door and it is now much quieter. The technician also noticed the other garage door was catching when it was opened or closed, so on his own initiative and without cost to us he quickly relocated the security latch on the door. This was going the extra mile and we really appreciated it. The technician was professional and friendly. Services Rendered: Fixed garage door which needed one to push in the button continuously to make it open.

Angi3It was okay. They scheduled the appointment with me and changed it three times because each time they waited for a week because the door didn't come in and my question there was pretty obvious that why don't you know the doors are coming in from the builder? It took about three extra weeks to get the door mounted because it was just not coming in and it was built out of the state and they were shipping in. Once the door was put in it has been fine but that part of it was not. The punctuality aspect was fine. Services Rendered: I used Overhead Door Co for garage doors.

Angi3Well, the work was done right and there were not any problems in that area but they were very sloppy about cleaning up. There were nails left all over the place and ones that could damaged my tires if I would have ran over top of one. I just thought they were very messy. Services Rendered: They replaced a garage door for me in my two car garage.

Angi4The person who answered the phone at Overhead was helpful, polite and quoted me the exact price, tax, installation and all, over the phone. The installers arrived when they were supposed to and except for having to return to the shop to get something they had forgotten, they were finished with the job when they said they would be. Overall, it was a positive experience. Services Rendered: Our garage door opener was replaced and we had a quote on replacing the door itself.
