We had a great experience working with Choo Choo Materials on our glass shower door install. The quality of the work was excellent, and the finished product looks fantastic. Sam was great to work with — responsive, honest, and professional. When there was a small mix-up with the handle, Sam owned it immediately and offered a fair solution without hesitation. Mistakes happen, but the way they handled it really stood out. It’s clear they care about doing right by their customers, and that kind of integrity goes a long way. I’ll definitely keep Choo Choo Materials in mind for future projects and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Choo Choo provided and installed custom shower glass and a barn type door in our remodeled shower. The fit and finish of everything was perfect and the crew that installed it was very efficient and professional. They even cleaned up their mess. We are very satisfied with everything they provided.

***DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, LOOK ELSEWHERE*** Customer Service is AWFUL. They do not respond in a timely manner. Installed gutters poorly which has caused water issues on porch. I've been asking for almost two years to get someone to respond. The female call taker is nice, and "will have someone call you back" but they won't. They absolutely refuse to fix the original issue they created. Sketchy company very unprofessional.

Called the office requesting an estimate for installing mirrors in a newly remodeled bathroom. Spoke with a nice woman but then never received any response. Recommend not wasting your time. I used Allied Glass, estimator arrived then ext day, professional work at a fair price.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They installed our garage door and it has been broken more times then working since we moved into our house. They do not respond to phone calls, they came out to "fix it" twice and it continues to break. We were told by another company it needed to be completely reinstalled in order to be properly fixed. I would avoid using them if possible.

Contractor seems to like them. I personally would not hire them. Constant delays, poor record keeping, poor communication between estimators and labor team. Had to tell them the type of interior handles three times, even though I did a walk-through with them the first time. The garage door was 3 weeks late being installed, after they said it had arrived and was ready. Their idea of "wood" shelving is cheap particle board with an adhesive melamine covering. I see these type of issues are similar to other reviewers. I would not have chosen them.

The morning of Sunday, February 19, I was stepping out of the shower when our large, very heavy glass shower door slid out of the hinges. I grabbed the door by the handle and screamed for my husband, who was able to help me safely place the door on the floor without breaking it. My first thought was praise God that my two small children were in the other room. As a mother to two kids under age two (currently 19 months and 7 weeks) I have taken countless showers with an infant or toddler in the bathroom with me. I shudder to think of what would have happened if the shower door had fallen on one of them. We contacted the builder of our house the next day. He named Choo Choo Materials as the business that installed our glass shower door in 2010 when our home was built. We gave Choo Choo a call and within a couple of days someone came to our house to examine the shower for repair. We initially thought that the door had fallen from the hinges because the rubber piece inside the hinge was old. The employee returned in a few days with new rubber pieces and a repair cost quote of $150 to replace four small rubber pieces. This cost seemed steep, but we wanted the door repaired correctly for the safety of our children. When he attempted to hang the door he noticed that the cut out portion of the glass did not match up correctly with the hinges. At this time we were informed that in order to correctly repair our shower door we would need a new, very expensive piece of glass. The Choo Choo Materials employee who originally installed our shower door (we are unsure of who this is) either intentionally installed it incorrectly or failed to check that it was correctly and SAFELY installed. At this point my husband began communicating with Sam at Choo Choo. Because an error was obviously made, we asked that it be made right by them. For the past 4 weeks we have gone back and forth without a solution. It is very disappointing that this business is choosing not to make their error right and is asking us to pay more than $400 to fix a shower door that wasn't installed correctly in the first place. I would caution anyone using this business to make sure that their work is done correctly. Update: the morning after I originally posted this review here on Google and on the Choo Choo Materials Facebook page, Ken contacted my husband. He was upset that I had left an honest review and claimed that Sam had told my husband that they would replace and repair our shower door at no cost to us.This was not true. Why would I bother leaving a bad review for a company that was going to do something so helpful for us? Ken basically said good luck fixing your shower on your own. Within the hour he had deleted My Facebook review and deactivated the review option on his Facebook business page. He spoke about me in a very unprofessional manner and lied to my husband, then said he thought my husband wasn't being truthful. My husband made contact again after the weekend and asked if our situation could be resolved if I deleted my review. Ken refused to do business with us. We will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will not ever recommend this business to anyone and will caution anyone I know to stay away. First, they didn't do the work correctly. Second, they didn't handle our situation in a timely manner. Third, when I left an honest review we were treated very unprofessionally and basically called liars. Then they refused to fix their problem! If they want to treat customers like that they don't deserve anyone's business.
