Google5One of the torsion springs and both cables broke on our garage door late in the afternoon on a Thursday. We had an important appointment on Friday and hoped to have the door in service in time to get there. The car was trapped inside the garage. It is a very heavy door and the first place I called told me that we wouldn't be able to open the door manually. I called Peterson's and explained our predicament. Because of the lateness of the day they couldn't make it out but promised that Jason would be there in the morning. The crew arrived on time and set to work. They didn't have the springs needed for the door because of the size and weight but could clamp the broken spring together to make it functional. They had the spring clamped and replaced both lift cables and bottom brackets in a short time and promised to return the following week to replace the springs. We were able to make it to the appointment with no problem. As promised, Jason and help returned the following week and replaced both springs. I am curious as to how things work and they seemed happy to have me watch the process and answered my questions as they worked. They were both very friendly and professional. The door has been working flawlessly in the month since they repaired it. It actually works better than it has worked since we moved into the place.

Google5Just had Jason and partner replace a broken spring on my garage door. Both gentlemen were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I was back in operation in very quick time. Google5Great service from Jason and partner on this service call. Quickly identified problem and replaced faulty master opener and secured door to loosened supports. Definitely recommend Peterson Overhead Door Co. for service, responsiveness, and courtesy. Will be adding annual maintenance to my list of things that should be checked routinely by people who know what to look for and repair.
