A-Windy City Garage did a great job building my new garage. I recently purchased a home and it didn’t have a garage. Joe arrived a couple days after I closed the end of December, measured the space and suggested finishes to compliment the house and existing shed I wanted to keep. He said they would break ground the start of spring when the ground thawed. True to his word, the crew showed up to dig out the ground for the foundation and poured the cement in one day. After the cement cured for a few weeks, the framers arrived and were able to complete the framing in 2 days. The electrician and drywall guys also finished within days of each other. I’m very happy with my 1-1/2 garage and I know if there’s any problems, I can contact them to get it addressed.

A completely excellent experience! We had our old garage taken down and a new one built by A Windy City Garage in October of 2023. Every step of the process was easy and enjoyable. Because a detached garage is part of your view in the backyard, Joe walked us through color and style choices that compliment our house and look beautiful. Most of the work (tear-down, foundation pouring, and construction itself) was done during the day while we were at work, so there was no disruption to our daily routine. Every step of the process was well communicated and transparent. Everyone we spoke with (owners, construction people, electricians) was professional and thorough. They even built our garage at 18X22 (instead of the “standard” 20X20) so that we could save a 70+ year old black walnut tree on its west side. This included adjusting to our schedule needs for an arborist to come out and cut the roots between the tree and garage – we really appreciate their flexibility in this matter (and, yes, there is still ample room for 2 cars). We HIGHLY recommend A Windy City Garage!

We recently had a 20x20 garage built by A-Windy City Garage, and my wife and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, the process was incredibly smooth. Joe and Vince were always available to answer our questions, and their customer service was top-notch. The team they lead is equally impressive. Every member was professional, respectful, and skilled at their job. They worked efficiently and ensured that our garage met our expectations. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail and the care taken to ensure everything was perfect. It is clear that Joe and Vince prioritize customer satisfaction and take pride in their work. I highly recommend Joe, Vince, and their team to anyone looking to build a garage. They made what could have been a stressful process easy and enjoyable, and we are thrilled with the final result. Thank you, A-Windy City Garage!

I hired A Windy City to replace a garage that had been destroyed in a fire based on a friend's recommendation. Reading the reviews here I kept expecting something to go wrong but my experience was great. The communication I received from the project manager was excellent, the project was done in a timely manner and was finished ahead of schedule.Everyone we dealt with was respectful and went out of their way to be helpful. Our neighbors let us know how polite the crew was to them.I would recommend A Windy City without reservation.

They are not trustworthy. I built a new 2-car garage and initially they quoted a price of $24,500. The insurance company payout included that amount plus additional damage amounts to my house. Their representative asked me how much the insurance paid and upon hearing they paid moreupped the price to $25,000 (he even tried to get $27000 at one point.)Its been two weeks since I fully paid for the garage and I have no paperwork no receipt whatsoever. The only time I heard from them was when ***** called me to ask me to resubmit my card so payment could go throughat that time ***** and assured me I would get a detailed listing of all that I paid for. Once the final payment processed, *** heard nothing else from them. What kind of company takes $25,000 and doesnt even give the customer a receipt? What are they hiding? I know that they overcharged me and paperwork will reveal that. Also I have no warranty even though ** said theres a five year warranty.Additionally there were hiccups as the project went along. Like when they did not accurately place the new cement in the same location which resulted in the garage being moved over. I compromised thinking that I was being reasonable by telling them that instead of tearing up the entire concrete pad I would settle for a patch of concrete between the garage and the neighbors fence so there would not be a need to do any upkeep with weeds growing in the tighter location in the future. When they were done they tried to tell me that they didnt charge me for the patching which had I insisted on fixing the pad the way it should have been wouldve cost ten times more. The posts that they placed to hold up the patio overhang part of the roof are bare and unsightly with exposed metal footings. The representative when told this was not satisfactory said I would just have to paint them. They didnt paint the underside of the overhang either again bare wood. The electrical work was completed after readjustments the contractor came and put outlets where he felt like it never talking to anybody in the household. So they were moved. All in all if I were to do it again I would not choose this company. They are deceptive to say the least. Buyers beware especially if you have an insurance claim. They act like they are helpful but they are only trying to see what you get from insurance so they can take every *****.If you do business with them dont pay a ***** until they give you paperwork.

Mike, at A-Windy City Garage Corporation, is skilled and professional. When our (new-to-us) garage door collapsed in the summer, he came out and replaced it within a few hours that same day. A few months later, when I realized I hadn't called to get the second garage door opener (for our other, much older car), I called again. He came out within the hour and dropped it off for us. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Special shout out to Ramiro and his crew, who were incredibly detail oriented and who's skill made our vision come to life!

I would like to start with Vincent and his whole team. The concrete guys to the actual carpenters alonzo, and his crew that built the garage and the garage door installer Jeremy and electrician all done an excellent job outstanding. Vincent handle the whole project like a professional should, the best part about him is when you call him, he would get back to you and actually listen to what you have to say. He worked very good with the township where the garage was built. Got all the permits in order and got the garage built in a timely fashion and very easy to work with . if we had a problem, it would be corrected pretty much the next day . although occurrences do happen in construction sites, anybody that ever try to build something or be their own contractor, believe me it's not easy. by no means do I consider myself a contractor . this is the reason why I hired Vince and his team to do this . I can't stress how good the work craftsmanship that he does and his team. thank you again Vincent for your patience and understanding with the problem that I had with the insurance trying to get this garage built I don't wanna get into all the details about that is a separate problem. You made the build of this garage and the transition of moving forward so much easier I do appreciate that brother and I plan to have more business with you so you can build my personal garage. last thing my dad love the garage.

Professional workman. Couldn't be happier with everything. We look forward to enjoying our new garage and outdoor space. Vince even came out on a Sunday to help with an electrical connection. Highly recommend Jimmy's concrete work & Vince and his crew.

We worked with Vince, and he was extremely helpful and professional from the initial estimate to the completion of the work. He was patient as we searched for other estimates, and we were ultimately thrilled that we chose A Windy City to do our project. They were fast and did thorough and professional work. Their pricing was very transparent and the work done was exactly as expected. I would absolutely recommend using Vince and his team, and would 100% hire them again in the future. Thanks Vince!
