Google5I would 100% recommend Alba Garage Door Repair to anyone. They are a fantastic family owned business. They were recommended to me by my contractor when I had an emergency. Adam and Jimmy are absolutely wonderful. Adam has come to my house twice now in emergencies and same day. Garage door issues caused by over active teenage boys that left me stuck with a no working door. Jimmy gave me plenty of time to get home from work to meet them. Adam is so kind, professional, helpful, answered all my questions and fast. They are very reasonably and competitively priced. I would call them again for any garage door related issue or replacement.

Google5I called this morning and was checking around for a company to replace the springs on my double garage door and when I contacted Alba Garage Door Repair they were the best price and not only that but Jimmy told me he would be able to fix it that very day and this was a Friday just before the memorial day weekend so I was doubly impressed!!!! Jimmy was very thorough and also pointed out some other parts of my garage that needed replacement and I was so thankful for that!!! Jimmy really cares about his customers and their safety!! I totally recommend Alba garage door repair company because they get the job done and their prices are great and Jimmy is very dedicated to his customers satisfaction!!!🤗👍

Yelp5Jimmy deserves *5* stars! We had our garage door opener replaced by Alba Garage Doors, and they provide excellent service. Yesterday, I called Jimmy because I had a problem with my door openers. He came out to my house immediately to fix the problem and did not charge us anything! Very pleased with Alba's service and respect to us, as Jimmy did wear a face mask! Thank you, Jimmy!!!

Yelp5Called the number for Lake in the Hills Garage Doors - Andre from "Doors in Motion" answered. A little confusing, but Mike from Alba Garage Doors was the person who actually showed up. He even got here earlier than I was originally told - same day. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and completed the work in less than an hour. Never heard of them before, but I'll definitely be using them again - for repairs, or when we're ready for a new door.

Yelp5Called jimmy Saturday night , said he would be over Sunday between 11 and 1 . He arrived 11 am sharp . He replaced our broken spring. 30 minutes he was done . Friendly and fast and professional. Reasonable fees as well . Do yourself a favor CALL JIMMY .

Yelp5We had a busted metal hinge on our garage door and of all the places I called Alba was the only one who could come out that day despite the freezing cold weather. They arrived on time as promised, fixed my door within about a 1/2 hour and the price was very reasonable. He even gave me some advice to spray lube on all of the moving parts of the door and opener every three months which I never knew. Very professional service would highly recommend them!

Yelp5I can't say enough great things about this business. I of course, called because I had a broken spring on my garage door and needed service. Jimmy was able to get me a same day appointment, was there when he said he would be and was very detailed in his exam of the issue. I also broke the pulley and the bearings were seized. He gave me a great price and was able to do all the work in less than an hour! I would also like to note that he was cheaper than anyone else I had called. He's a local business and I am all for giving our local business owners an opportunity! Jimmy is a great guy and I would recommend his services to anyone who asked!! Give him a call, you won't be sorry!!

Yelp5I've used them 3 times now over the past 2 years. He's installed one new door & repaired 2 other ones. I selected them because of their A+ rating on Angie's list. They didn't disappoint. Arrived on time & the price I paid was lower than other companies in the area. He even told me I could call at 3 am if the door ever breaks again. I referred them to a neighbor who was also very happy with their service & pricing. I'm wondering if the previous poster is confusing them with someone else?

Angi3Based on the good reviews on Angies List, we called on a Saturday morning and he came out that day (thank- you for that!) However, the cost was so much higher than any that were on the other reviews that I think that we were ripped off. My fault for not checking prices first.... but our door was broken, they had good reviews, and I trusted they would be fair. Services Rendered: We have a double garage door, and a single door. One spring broke on the double door, and he repaired the broken spring, end plate, middle bracket and cable, and replaced all the other ones "since they were the same age and would likely go bad soon".

Angi5This company came out a second time to perform additional services and it was just as great of an experience. Services Rendered: One of the double door garage springs broke and both were replaced. The provider seemed knowledgable and went to the trouble of spraying lubricant on the tracts of both garage doors. The garage door system light recently stopped working, though the bulb was replaced, and a minor adjustment brought that back into working order. I was pleased with the service and will hire again to put new garage door insulation strips in place.

Angi5They came a little later than expected, but still within the window they stated. (9-11 am). He started by adjusting the spring tension. Then he attached the garage door opener to the door. And the door worked fine. Then, he replaced the rollers of the door with nylon rollers, lubricated the joints and rollers. Made some minor adjustments to the garage door opener and everything worked great. Door opened fine with the opener, it was quiet and the garage door opener was even quieter. Very professional, cleaned up after themselves. Services Rendered: The garage door opener was not attached and pulled part of the door off the garage door.
