We enjoyed working with Wally, Isabela, Peter, John, and other workers. We can't express in words how much knowledge, expertise, craftmanship, integrity, and efficiency this team brought! Through Wally and his leadership and knowledge made everything flow together, Isabela and her sweet disposition and knowledge helped design and pick out the materials, Peter and his excellent skills in electrical and plumbing and everything he touched, John and his exceptional carpentry skills, and the rest of the team who displayed their specialized skills, made this whole house remodeling project the best experience we could ever have. We highly recommend them for any remodeling projects!

We began our relationship with Chicagoland Remodeling over 10 years ago when they remodeled our bathroom and since then we have trusted Wally and team to remodel our entire home. We are IN LOVE with our new kitchen. Izabella’s experience and ideas brought my vision to life! Wally and Peter kept the project moving and finished when they said they would even fixing things that came up along the way! I was especially thrilled that Wally worked so hard to find a perfect match to our existing parquet flooring!!! I highly recommend this professional, friendly and honest team! We loved working with them!

We spoke with Wally and Izabela about a condo remodel and were very impressed with their professionalism and deep knowledge of the work involved. They clearly care about quality and take pride in what they do. They are conscious about the materials they suggest. They don’t simply recommend brands based on name recognition. They pay attention to composition and workmanship of supplies. It’s fun to see them talk about their work with such joy! Although we ended up going with a different firm due to some specific logistical/administrative needs (we’re based out of state), we had full confidence in their workmanship and transparency. They called when they said they would. They arrived on time for appointments. Their pricing was fair. And they were responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend reaching out to them if you’re looking for a reliable and skilled contractor!

Chicagoland Remodeling did an outstanding job remodeling our kitchen. We love the new kitchen. It maximizes the space we have. Wally takes great care in making sure everything is done right. He and Peter are knowledgable, efficient, and take pride in their work every step of the way. Izabela was responsive. They offered options for us and heard our viewpoint and needs. We asked them to do our hallway from the outside up to the kitchen to match the ambiance and they transformed the look with new stairs and paint. They are true pros arriving early and cleaning up each day. We would recommend them for your next remodel job.

Wally and the team made our dream bathroom come to life! I would give 10 stars if I could. We can’t thank them enough for their expertise and professionalism. I don’t think I could ever use another company, and will be using them for all future house projects. They really impressed me with their beautiful work, timeline to complete the job, and help designing my bathroom. When they said 2 weeks for my specific project, they meant it! Pricing at Chicagoland is very reasonable and competitive compared to other remodeling companies. And they do not sneak unwanted or extra work or money into your contract. What you sign off on is what you get. And I thank them for their honesty with that! Wally and the team respected my home, were prompt, and had me sign off/agree on every detail of the bathroom before installing things, which I was very appreciative of. And they gave their many years of experience and advice to help me come up with a beautiful and functional bathroom. You can’t go wrong with Chicagoland Remodeling.

Really happy that we found Chicagoland Remodeling for our bathroom renovation! The team was great to work with and we really appreciated Izabela’s insights to make sure we were happy with the results. For example, we were struggling to find a vanity given our small space and she made a great recommendation that we ordered through them. Our small space also required creativity with ideas for a sink and countertop and the solution couldn’t have turned out better. Our next project will be a single phone call to them.

Wally, Isabella, and their whole team are very professional. They gutted and remodeled our bathroom and we are extremely happy with the results. They were so easy to work with and they went beyond and sometimes out of their way for things that were needed. When I called with questions they always picked up and had answers. They pay attention to the smallest details. I am definitely using them again for other remodels in our home.

The actual work went well. Communication with Chicagoland Remodeling was a little slow - but I realize it is a busy time of the year. Mr. Szymanski, who did the work, was very pleasant, professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend his services and will use him again as needs arise. Services Rendered: I had a header and two king studs replaced on a large garage door opening because they had rotted. Work included the removal and replacement of the lumber along with new aluminum re-capping and weather proofing of the work. The finished product looks great and you would never know there was a problem. Good as new!

As usual, Chicagoland Remodeling did very good work. This large project was completed in stages over several months. There were unavoidable delays as we waited 3 months for a new main garage door from a separate contractor, but we are very happy with the final outcome. The individuals who worked on our garage were thorough, neat and friendly. There were the inevitable minor glitches, but owner Wally Szymanski did an outstanding job of seeing to it that they were addressed promptly. We were able to continue using the garage throughout the project. Services Rendered: Installed new garage roof, soffit, and fascia; replaced vinyl siding on garage; replaced and painted service door, installed light fixtures

As much as I'd like to give a glowing report on Chicagoland, I can't. I've used them in the past with excellent results, but this time was different. I called them during the busy time of the year, I know, but it took a month between signing the contract and them starting the work. I'd tried to be understanding. Izabela does the best she can in the front office, but I think what is happening is they are taking on more than they can handle. They should hire someone who can work strictly as an estimator and a liaison to Izabela, instead of relying on Wally. Someone fluent in Polish, English and Spanish most likely would be the best candidate (although I bet that would be hard to find.) The person that worked on my job I think was in too much of a rush to get things done and didn't focus like he should and certainly did not communicate with me when he had problems. I had to point out some of his errors. He was the only one working on the projects - it would have been nice if a foreman or more experienced worker would have come in to check his work. I can say that they will come back and fix any problems without complaint, but doing it right the first time would be best. When it means you have to take time off from work, this is especially true. Some of the errors were a result of poor quality of materials used. Another error involved poor judgement in placing a wall mount sink and applying way to much caulk in an attempt to hold it up on the wall. Really bad idea. I believe the guy who was working on my project was mostly inexperienced. I know some of the other workers would have been more diligent. I won't list the other problems. They weren't terrible mistakes, but collectively it means I can't use them again. I don't trust they'd get things done right the first time. It's too bad. I hope they take the advice concerning an estimator, and also make sure they have more experienced workers and better oversight, even on the smallest projects. If you are on the fence about this company I wouldn't say dismiss them completely. Get a bid and make sure you know what to ask for. I'd say someone who has had experience dealing with contractors would be best, and not someone who is hiring for a home project the first time out. Services Rendered: Remodel powder room: strip wallpaper, paint, replace sink. Replace side door and lock on garage door. Replace toilet, sink in 1/2 bath. Re-caulk kitchen sink. Weather strip front door.
