Google4The views from the top of Willis Tower are beautiful and absolutely worth it. I explored Chicago during a really long layover, and deciding to go up here was one of the best choices I made. Chicago is a stunning city, and seeing it from above really puts its architecture and layout into perspective. When I visited, I honestly thought it was the most beautiful city I had ever seen that is, until I flew into Singapore the next day. If you have time to explore Chicago, even during a layover, going to the top of Willis Tower is a must.

Google5Willis Tower is an absolute must if you want to see Chicago from a whole different level—literally. The Skydeck on the 103rd floor delivers jaw-dropping views that stretch for miles on a clear day, giving you a true sense of how massive and flat the Midwest really is. The highlight is the glass ledges that extend out from the building, letting you stand over the city with nothing but glass beneath your feet. It’s equal parts thrilling and nerve-wracking, even if you’re not afraid of heights. The experience is well-organized, informative, and worth the wait. While tickets aren’t cheap and lines can get long, especially during peak hours, the payoff is undeniable. Sunset is the best time to visit if you want to see the city transition from daylight to a sea of lights.

Google5Bought tickets online the night before to save time. Zero visibility on the day I had tickets for. Isn't that how it always works. Lol. I haven't been there since I was a child, when it was still owned by Sears. Now there's gift shops, donut shops, photo ops, and all kinds of other stuff! There was a color workshop for kids (maybe for adults too I'm not sure) before going in. 18 mph is how fast the trip to the 103rd floor is. VERY FAST! Oh my geez. Even with zero visibility it was good fun, especially for my teens that have never experienced a lot of the things I got to do in the city when I was a kid.

Google5The best city views! Born and raised in Chicago, I’ve been coming here since I was a kiddo and it was Sears tower. Since then I come here with family or friends out of town, and this past trip back home to Chicago, I got to do yoga on the 99th floor and visit the skydeck. It was amazing :)

Google5The Willis Tower (Sears Tower) is one of those places that actually lives up to the hype. The views from the Skydeck are unreal and give you a true sense of how big and beautiful Chicago is. Stepping onto the glass ledge is a little nerve-racking at first, but it ends up being a really fun and memorable experience. The Willis Tower (Sears Tower) is one of those places that actually lives up to the hype. Everything felt well run and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. On top of that, there's just something special about being in such an iconic building. If you're in Chicago, this is absolutely worth the visit.

Google5It was great. The view was breathtaking. There are plenty of photo opts along the way to the Willis Tower Skydeck. I ttok pics with Chicago natives, like Oprah, The Obamas, and Michael Jordan. Once you reach the Tower ledge, you have 90 seconds to take pictures and that's it. Then they try to sale you the pics you take coming in for $35 for 2. Or $45 for all 4 pictures as you leave out.
