I found advantage door a few years back on a Holiday that fell on a Sunday. I had a cable snap and my garage door was wedged in the tracks and wouldn't budge. I called around to a few places and was given some very high prices just to get a tech on site to give me a quote for a repair. I then stumbled upon Advantage Door. I called, he listened to my description, gave me a quote over the phone and came quickly. He fixed my issue, and has been my go-to referral for garage doors ever sense. Great work at a very reasonable price. Keep up the great work!

I had a spring break on my garage door, and am thrilled with my experience with Steve and Advantage Door. He was able to make the appointment on the same day, arrived when he said he would, was extremely knowledgeable, competitively priced, and cleaned up when he was finished. There were a couple of maintenance items with my garage door, and he took care of them for no additional charge. I was even more pleased to learn that by contracting Steve, I was supporting his small, local, veteran-owned business. I highly recommend Steve and Advantage Door!!!

Wonderful service ,Steve installed a garage door for me about 5 years ago. Very professional, a very fair price and really did it right. The electric garage door looked great, sealed out the cold air , and worked perfect for all these years , no issues. Last week I hear unusual sound when I let the door down, call Advantage and Steve said he would come out this Saturday and check it out .He arrived Sat. and put two new large rollers on and lubercated the other smaller rollers. Works perfect and the sound is gone .I tried to pay him but he declined any payment, wish me a happy new year. If you want a quality product, honest person, at a reasonable price, call this place. When no one showed by 11am, I called only to listen to the message say calls would be returned next business day. Called again at 2:30p and sent a text. My husband called on Monday. I was worried that I'd be unable to leave for work on Monday morning since I couldn't open my garage. I called on Saturday late afternoon and set up the repair for Sunday morning. I called for the first time on Jan. 11 and left a voicemail explaining the service I was looking for (a garage door tune-up) and that I had a coupon from his website. The voicemail said I would receive a call back in 30 minutes but I did not. I called back again on the 12th and 17th and as of writing this on Jan. 31, I have never heard anything back. To be fair, I used this company a few years ago to replace my garage door opener after a lightning strike and he was great but no idea why I couldn't even get a call back this time. I tried to contact 6 different garage door installation experts from Angie’s list to get a ball park figure for 2 new garage doors so I knew where to start with requesting actual estimates. I connected with 2 immediately and got estimates in the range of $2,000.00 which seemed a bit high but the worst part was that it would take 2 to 6 weeks before I could get the installation. As a result, I continued calling. I had to leave messages for the other 4 companies. I contacted Advantage Door and I had to leave a message, but their message said he would be back to me within the hour (or maybe ½ hour). True to the message, Steve returned my call within the half hour, and gave me a ballpark quote of $1600.00 but also said he would be glad to meet me in 1 ½ hours to do an accurate bid before he started his next job. Clearly and respectfully he explained to me what needed to be done. Being an older woman who is often dismissed in situations such as this – even asked if the person could speak with my husband on more than one occasion – I was very happy with the way in which I was treated. I was a businesswoman for 30 years and know how to conduct business conversations/negotiations so it's nice to be treated as if I have a brain. Steve’s final firm bid came in within $39 of the phone estimate even though I had accidentally given him the wrong (smaller) door size. In addition to that, he agreed to remove and discard the old wooden doors and rails, etc., do some specialty work due to the height of the garage and the way the previous openers were wired in a pretty obviously slipshod way, all included in his price. I was impressed. Then bonus, he said he could schedule me next week on Tuesday or Wednesday, whichever we preferred. He understood I was doing this for a rental, explained the better quality options, but did not do a hard up-sale at all which I had even gotten from one of the vendors over the phone. But, the proof is in the pudding, as they say. Well, on Tuesday Steve arrived at the agreed upon time, did a very thorough job – everything exactly as agreed. The garage doors look great, work well and debris from former doors was removed. Very pleased with the experience. Additionally, I was pleased to give Steve my business as he has served our country in the Army for 21 years, and I think he told me 14 of them overseas. (I asked him because he was wearing an Army t-shirt and I have a nephew who served in the Army, so I was curious). I did eventually get a call back from everyone within a couple days of leaving messages but I was pleased enough with Advantage Door that I went with them rather than wait to hear from the other 3 companies.
