Google5Wagner home improvement has been amazing to work with! They did some work on my sunroom roof back in 2020. After noticing some water coming into my sunroom again 5 years later (after this crazy snowstorm/freezing temps), they had sent over two guys immediately (within the hour of calling). They noticed the water was just due to there being so much snow on the roof and the gutters were frozen solid. They took it upon themselves to take all the snow off the sunroom roof, unfreeze some of my gutters (as much as they could) and salt my gutters as well. I needed some paperwork done as well, as they knew I was selling my house and got that written up for me quickly and even extended the warranty. I wish I could give this company more than five stars. They have been amazing to work with! Would definitely recommend!

Google5Wagner was professional and very reasonable. They removed our old door, replaced and reinforced the threshold, corrected water damage, and installed new. They also wrapped some trim and a chimney siding in aluminum; and they sourced a vent and door surround to match. Installers were craftsmen who knew what they doing. Marty was patient with selection of color, style, and dates for scheduled install. Overall, I would/will hire this crew again to work on my home.

Google3UPDATE: Bumping my rating to three stars. Finally someone from Wagners got back to my dad. They sent someone out who was able to shim and level the door. The rating would have been higher had they resolved the issue sooner or at least been more responsive. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Both myself and my parents have had a few jobs done by Wagner. The trend that is coming through with the new ownership is that they simply don't return phone calls. My parents had a new $7,000+ front door and screen door installed by them and they've had nothing but issues with it. The doors both stick and are not fit properly. Wagner came out once to try to fix the screen door and failed. They have not returned my message or my father's message about the issue. This door is barely two years old.

Google5I needed a replacement attic fan. I wanted a high tech one that could be phone controlled. (I purchased a Quiet Cool ES 2.0 unit.) Randy and Dave from Wagner home improvement came out and in a couple of hours they had my fan installed, which required removing the old fan, enlarging the roof opening and even building permanent scaffolding and steps in my attic. The price was reasonable and these guys were knowledgeable, fast, expert, polite and exceedingly clean and efficient. This was one of the best home repair experiences I have had in the past many years.

Google1The new owner doesn't know how to read a tape measurer let alone count correctly, he is constantly ordering less materials than needed causing delays on jobs, mismeasuring doors and windows at almost every estimate, as well as ordering them opening the wrong way or maybe not even at all. He can't keep his employees happy with anything other than empty promises. Since he took over the whole company itself let alone the moral of the employees has seriously diminished. This guy has no idea what he is doing and has spent the last 2 years trying to "figure it out" with other people's homes and money, and has made no progress at all, which explains why most of his work comes from family and friends still trying to help out (Patton Painting for example, who funds the Wagner accounts), and a few long time customers of the old owners who don't even look for other quotes in hopes that they would be taken care of like they were in the past. It is a shame to see what this company has turned into since the original owners sold the business. His lack of knowledge shows greatly and if it weren't for the installers making sure things were done right this company would cease to exist. He couldn't even measure and order his parents doors and windows correctly which is what you will find in his showroom. Siding and roofing is all subcontracted, the only "in house" employees are the door and window crew, 2 guys (who are actually roofers, not door and window guys) whom he uses to clean up garbage because the subcontractor's will trash your property and leave it. This company has completely gone down hill.

Google5Wagner Home Improvement is just as good as ever. Over the years, I have gone to them for new siding, and then a new roof. Recently, I spoke to Marty, in the office, about a siding repair I needed done. Dave did a beautiful job and I am more than satisfied. In fact, he even did another small job for me, completely unrelated to the siding repair. This business has maintained their same high standards and you can't go wrong with a place like that.

Google5I have been intending to do this review for a few months now. I had my roof replaced by Wagner Home Improvement in August 2018. I had 5 different contractors come to my house to give me recommendations and estimates for the roof replacement. Only two of the five actually went up on the roof to do a thorough assessment. Randy from Wagner Home Improvement was one of them. (One guy, barely got out of the truck before he gave me an estimate!) But, what made Randy really stand out, was his recommendation that I should have the chimney repaired before I changed the roof. He was the only contractor who looked beyond the immediate task. Indeed, the chimney company found that the cap was broken and many bricks had to be replaced. Once that job was completed, the crew from Wagner came and changed the roof in a timely and efficient manner. They were thorough, professional, clean, courteous. The roof looks beautiful! I recommend Wagner Home Improvement without any hesitation.

Angi5John (from Wagners) called and came right away that day, after I called. I was very concerned it would leak again and ruin the ceiling if not done before the next rain. John explained everything and answered all my questions about the roof. Very knowledgable, courteous, and informative. Services Rendered: Gutter and roof repair where the garage roof meets the house where their was swelling. Had a link after heavy rain which led to rain coming into the house.
