Jim Hatley (the owner) was able to locate a replacement panel for a garage door that had been out of manufacture for at least a decade. He was able to make custom adjustments to ensure the repaired door was an exact fit. He and his employee (Adam) were always on time. They stayed until the door opened and closed as designed, something that took an extra hour of their time, but was much appreciated. Two thumbs up! Services Rendered: Replace the bottom panel of a two-car garage door and replace the weather stripping around the door.

The doors operate so much more smoothly and quietly than the old doors and are way better insulated. Door works great ... better more quiet that it has been for years! Services Rendered: Fixed garage door opener. The teeth on the traveler were stripped, but he was able to rebuild it with a spare part he happened to have in the truck with him. He then also applied more grease to the worm gear and sprayed lubricant on the guide wheels.

We initially contacted Jim in January to have him come out to look at our current garage door to see if there was a ready-made door panel with horizontal windows that could be installed. Jim was very professional and pleasant, and after looking at what we wanted and taking some measurements, it was determined that we needed a custom solution in order to get enough light into the workspace. Jim gave us some suggestions for a custom solution, and after discussing it with us we gave him the green light to have the windows made. Jim kept us very well informed of the progress and expected arrival date of the window parts. Yesterday he came out to do the installation, and we are delighted with the results. He was very reasonably priced, kept us well informed and was extremely professional and it was a pleasure to do business with him. We would highly recommend him to friends and family, and will definitely have him do any future garage door work for us. Services Rendered: We have a woodworking shop in the third bay of our garage. It is very dark as there are no windows on that side. We asked Jim Hatley, owner of Tri-Lakes Garage Doors to recommend a solution, as it did not appear that a ready-made replacement garage door was available that fit our needs. Jim ended up installing two custom horizontal window panels in the garage door to our third bay. The result is a bright, natural light and no more stumbling around to find the light switch.
