This company is great to work with, very professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. I love my new garage doors and appreciate the quality and feel that I got my money's worth. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Fast, clean, prompt service on a Sunday to install a new opener. When I'm ready to get the door upgraded I will be calling them back

My torsion spring broke two nights ago and the extremely heavy wooden garage door we have was nearly impossible to lift. I called Columbus Ohio Garage Door on Thursday evening and got a call back almost immediately. They were able to schedule my repair for this morning and Anthony did a great job replacing the spring. He also examined and tuned up the whole garage door, and finally, before leaving, instructed me to lubricate the pulleys, springs, and track of the door. All-in-all, I'm very satisfied with the prompt friendly service I received.

I contacted four garage down companies looking for a service quote when I noticed that my garage door was a lot heavier than usual and someone said the spring was misaligned. Columbus Ohio Garage Door came in the lowest, at $65 for an alignment. I was told it would cost up to $335 if I needed a new spring, but that wasn't the case for me thankfully. I scheduled for James to come out the next day between 11am and 1pm. Next thing I know I'm being told at 11:30 the next morning that the job was finished. Very efficient and fast! The only reason I am rating three stars instead of five? I ended up charged $75, instead of the quoted $65. Repairman said it was an extra $10 for the service and the $65 was just for showing up. That is not what I was told. It's only an extra $10, but it doesn't really matter how much it is when you are surprised with fees you weren't informed of ahead of time. Will I go back to them again if I need my garage door repaired again? Probably not. Hidden costs are a deal breaker with me; the trust is just not there anymore. Update: When Columbus Garage Door saw my review, they refunded the $10 saying it was a mix-up in communications between the repairman and the office.

This all started at 08:45 on a Saturday morning when my wife and I were trying to get our girls to their Saturday morning activities. One of the hinges on my garage door popped out the track and the door was stuck half open. My wife and I were able to manually lift the door so that we could get the cars out but we could not get it closed. So we left the house with our garage unsecured. As soon as I returned home I jumped on the computer and sighed into Angie's List to try to find someone to help us. The first call at 09:50 was to Columbus Ohio Garage Doors. I was lucky enough to get Lisa on the phone and she told me that she could not promise anything but she would do her best. Lisa called me back around 10:45 and said that she could have someone at my place by noon. At 11:12 there is a knock at my door. The two knights that Lisa sent to my rescue were here. Anthony and James introduced themselves to me, diagnosed the problem and went straight to work. By 11:50 they were done. The explained to me what went wrong and gave me a list of do's and don'ts when it came to my garage door. They made some recommendation because of the age of my garage door opener and the weight of the door, but they did not try to sell me anything extra. This was money well spent. Columbus Ohio Garage Doors has been added to my contact list because if I every have a family member or friend that has a garage door problem I will be sure to share the information with them. They seem to live by the motto, "Good Service is Good Business".
