Hamilton Parker's service man told us the gas fireplace didn't come on and needed a part and charged us $145. The fireplace worked fine before he got there, and after he left, my husband looked and found that the service man had moved two switches to the "off" position so that the fireplace now didn't come on. The only explanations we can find for this is (a) gross incompetence on the part of the service man and the company that employs and trained him or (b) an actual deliberate attempt to scam us into purchasing work and parts we did not need.

The repairman called ahead and arrived on time. He was neat, clean and very professional. Unfortunately, he could not fix it, but he clearly explained that parts were not available from the manufacturer of the fire place, and they do use "after market" parts for very good reason which he explained. I was impressed and pleased with his professionalism and attitude. I would confidently recommend this company To anyone needing this type of service. They may not be the cheapest, "But you get what you pay for". Services Rendered: Needed to see if gas log fireplace could be repaired

I made an appointment and they called me when they were on the way. I have an older wood garage door and they didn't have the right size spring in the truck, but they repaired it so that I could use it until the part came in. A few days later when the spring came in they called and we made an appointment. Again, they called when they were on their way. They came and did a very professional job. I was pleased with the work and the cost. I would use them again. Services Rendered: I had a broken spring on my garage door.

Garage door was stuck open. Called first thing in the morning, and they were able to send a repair person within 30 minutes. Quickly diagnosed the problem (broken spring) and was able to do the repair on the spot. Greatly appreciative of how quickly they were able to take care of this! Installer was on time, professional in appearance and manner, and did a great job in a timely fashion. Services Rendered: I called this company to see if they could help with a garage door opener problem. I had a Genie door opener, and replacement the main circuit board twice, and the unit stopped working again. These guys were great. I explained what I had done so far, and they called the Genie rep, who explained that the motor was bad, causing the symptom's, even though this is not explained in their troubleshooting manual. The sent a free motor and a HP rep came to install the motor. The installation was on time, and took about 20 minutes. Very happy with the service and they went out of their way to help me resolve the issue, without pushing to buy a new opener. Highly recommend them for any diagnostic help you may need.

They do good work but they are expensive. I'm actually going to have them replace my garage door as well. The garage door opener was done under warranty. The work they are going to do on my garage door is like, $800. That is probably going to be done in the next month. They were the ones who did the initial garage door installation and they had a sticker on the door. They did great. It was very quick. They treated us well, they came in, they did the work very quickly, and resolved the problem. They are a bit pricey but not on that particular service because they ended up doing it under warranty. Services Rendered: Hamilton Parker Company replaced the full garage door opener.
