Yelp5Showed up fast and on time. Did the work at the price quoted. Pleasant to deal with and knowledgeable. That may not seem like 5 starts, but in the garage door business it is rare. Other companies on Yelp low-balled me with a "free estimate" where they would come out and "weight my garage door" then give me a price. The other company had no idea how much this very standard 8' x 18' steel door would weight. So I went to Google the weight so I could get a firm price. Surprise! where did I find the weight? On the other low ball company website. So I call the other company back and give them the information from their own website. Price estimate DOUBLES from $199 to $399. Then I got a firm quote from 214 Garage Door at $229. Booked it showed up in about an hour. Need some small extra parts and had them on this truck. Fixed and at the price quoted. Highly recommend him. He also does Christmas lights in North Dallas so yes he is on my Christmas list.

Yelp5Thank you Adam! Another solid company out of Richardson. We needed same day emergency service for a broken swing. Contacted them via online quote request they responded with minutes - with repair estimate, confirmed scheduled timeframe. They replaced both springs, realigned door and replaced the rubber seal. All completed an a hour of contacting them.

Yelp5We had a broken top strut on our 16' garage door. We got a competitive price in the morning and they showed up the same afternoon. They were done quickly, had all parts on the truck, answered all questions, and checked the other screws to make sure things were in good shape (replacing a few that had stripped out at no extra charge). Great service and extremely pleasant. I would highly recommend 214 for any service work or new door installation. You'll get better doors at better prices, including installation, than what a door costs by itself at the big box stores.

Yelp5When my wife asked me to "is there any way that you can finally get the garage door spring fixed today?", I jumped on Yelp and submitted a project. 214 Garage Door was the second to respond (3 minutes later) but they were also one of the only places to actually answer my "how much will it cost?" question (everyone else said "it depends..." or ignored the question). After I selected 214 Garage Door, they arrived within 20 minutes! No kidding, my spring was replaced with two new, higher quality springs within 50 minutes of submitting my request on Yelp! 214 Garage Door's price was very fair. The technician was professional, smart, friendly, clean truck, and happy to help me learn more about my garage door maintenance. I simply can not imagine a better experience, ever. And I was the 'I get stuff done' guy that day with my wife! 214 Garage Door has my 100% endorsement!
