We have used the same company for several years and I believe Covid did them in. We where recommend cowtown and I can't say good enough things. We know what the issue is because it's happens every few years. Mike came to our house and figure out the issue within minutes. Didn't suggestion anything else and fixed the problem quickly. I texted Cowtown on Thursday on an issue I had with my garage at a rental house. Kim responded immediately and Mike came out the next day. She let me know the issue and what the charge would be. No up selling or anything "extra" (which I've experienced with other companies in the area). They were very easy to work with and have convenient online payment. I THOUGHT this company was my dream come true but....... I've learned that Mike will cut corners if need be. I hired this company to do work on a few of my properties. I do not go out and check the work as I expect it will be done and its for rental properties and I'm not always available. Mike installed a garage door opener in 2016, yes 2016. It has worked well BUT it was installed using straps instead of angle iron. Confused? Yeah well us normal folk don't always know what the pros know. Strapping is the cheesy way to install the opener and will break years down the road. Mine broke. I called kim and asked her what work they had done on that rental as I have multiple properties. She said they installed the garage door opener and gave me a date of install. She said they are booked up till the end of December and that she would get back to me. I get a text.this morning that it will be an $85.00 charge!!!! When I balked about it she recanted her story and said she didnt say they installed it. She actually was raising her voice to me over the phone because I questioned their integrity. Who raises their voice at the customer? Who doesn't stand behind their work? This is what it comes down to? Wow

One of the screws on the Door Rail (the one attaching the door to the house) had been taken off inadvertently by some workers at my home and I wanted it to be repaired by someone who knows garage doors. Based on my past experience with Cowtown Door, I called them and asked them to come out and take a look at it. It was late in the day, so I agreed to an appointment the following day. Mike arrived before the stated arrival time and told me it was not too serious, but I asked him to make the repair since he had gone to the effort to come out. After reattaching the door rail to the home, he proceeded to lubricate and do other routine maintenance to the door, which I appreciated. I would definitely use Cowtown Door when it comes times to replace the door or the opener. Services Rendered: Garage Door Repair

Ok. The door was installed by a sub contactor, however, he did an excellent job, the only gripe I have wth them is when I called a few months later looking for a roller for another door they never returned my call. I eventually bought one at Elkins Hardware in Saginaw and installed it myself. I may or may mot use them again. Today, service means NOTHING!!!!!! Services Rendered: New insulated garage door

We have used Cowtown Floor Co before when our door came off of the tracks. Recently I messed up the remotes and Cowtown came out and reprogrammed all components for me at NO CHARGE. I was recommended by a Fort Worth police officer who I worked with. Before calling I found their website completely helpful. They have it set up so that the customer can see the different options to choose from. After I made up my mind on what I wanted I decided to give them a call. I was able to speak to the owners wife who was super nice and explained everything over the phone. She was quick in emailing me prices and additional details. Our garage door was the old wooden kind that are extremely heavy and we were wanting to upgrade. She explained to me that since it would have to be a custom cut garage door that it would be a little more pricey. It wasn't much more than the original quote. We were told it would take two weeks to get the custom garage cut but it came in a week early. Their worker came in and installed the door and hauled away our old one. He cleaned up after himself and was very careful not to damage our broken down car that we couldn't take out of the garage. Services Rendered: Great Job!!

Highly recommend Cowtown Door Co. The owner, Mike, went above and beyond to fix our garage door issues. We called one day and were given a firm quote over the phone. Our appointment was scheduled for the next day and Mike was punctual, even arrived a little early. Fixed the problem quickly and even fixed the garage door remote button at no extra charge. Have had no problems since. Feel Mike is a very honest and upstanding person. We even received a follow-up thank you letter from them that contained a list of garage door maintenance tips.
