This garage repair company is not to be trusted. They did not properly repair my garage opener and refused to come back unless they charged me $150 to adjust the sensors. BEWARE!!!!

I called at 8:00 am for repair on my garage door. Juan was at my door before the 10-12 window. He explained what was needed and the price for the repair. He was friendly and completed the job in a timely manner. I highly recommend Juan.

Doors in Motion was selected through my home warranty service to assess and repair problems with my garage door. I received a direct phone call from Doors in Motion very shortly after submitting a claim to the home warranty service. The manager attempted to call me several times to understand the issue and to send a technician to assess. Once the manager got in touch with me, a technician was on the scene within the hour. Jaun arrived and quickly assessed the situation and told me what the problem was, what he would need to do to fix it, and how much the costs would be. Juan was very thorough and immediately answered any questions I had. I assumed Juan would convey all the information to his manager and would then schedule a day/time to come back and fix the problem. I was delighted and astonished when Juan explained that he would do all the repairs immediately and should be done in about an hour or so. He would also be able to add a new Chamberlain smart door opener that I had been wanting to do regardless of this garage door problem. Like magic, Juan had everything he needed in his truck to resolve all the issues with my garage door. I am blown away by the outstanding work Juan did, and his over-the-top customer service skills! I did not know what to expect in this whole process because this was the first time I had ever had an issue with any garage door. I had set my bar very low on my expectations for prompt service and good work because of past experiences with home repair situations. Thanks to Doors in Motion for sending Juan out so quickly, and double thanks and extra kudos to Juan for his excellent work and outstanding customer focus. I'm not sure I will let anyone but Juan from Doors in Motion touch my garage door if there is ever another issue.

The technicians were rude and unknowledgeable. They replaced the wrong part and left our garage in worse working condition than it was in before. The owner refused to listen or even let us speak when we called. We spoke to another family that had a similar experience with Doors in Motion. We hired another company that got our garage door up and running right away. This is the second time I used this company (first was to replace my garage door at my previous residence). The spring broke on my current door on a Friday night at 7 pm. I had an appointment first thing the next morning so it was urgent that this get repaired so I had the use of my car. The Technician came out within an hour and had the door repaired within another hour. He also replaced the rollers as everything on the door was "original". The price wasn't cheap, but it wasn't extremely high either, and worth it given the timely service. The Technician was very competent and worked very efficiently. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. Very decent company which I highly recommend.

Doors In Motion are Awesome! They installed my new garage door opener today perfectly and just in an hour. Also they came back because I unprogrammed everything with one button and they had to reset everything up all over again. I had a great technician Juan he setup everything for me even my phone to wi-fi MyQ and was very pleasant. Very important to mention they are inexpensive compared to other companies I called. Will recommend them to my family and friends!

Great service, scheduled an appointment then they called to move it. No problem as it wasn't an emergency. Replaced springs and rollers. Wasn't cheap but we didn't price shop them so it may have been a good deal. This is the second time we have used them and both were positive experiences.

On Saturday 7/21/18 my garage door spring broke at 1:00 pm. I called Doors in Motion and within 1 1/2 hrs their tech Mike showed up and quickly replaced the door springs. Mike was excellent and very professional. This was the 2nd time that i have used Doors in Motion and both times i was very impressed with their service and attention to detail. I will continue to use them and i will highly recommend to all my friends and family

GREAT SERVICE!!! Same day service, with a call before service person arrived. Michael was the service person, and I can't say enough about this guy. Diagnosed the problem and solved it. Michael is professional, friendly, courteous, and knows his stuff. He is a great representative for Doors in Motion, and I hope he is rewarded for that, as it is so very important when dealing with the public. I originally called my regular garage repair guys, they called to change my appointment for 2 days later--I needed to get in and out of garage asap, found Doors in Motion in phone book. Because of Michael, I am changing to Doors in Motion for any future issues with my garage doors. Also, want to mention Marie, who answered the phone and called me back with appt. time. She was obviously very busy, but was so nice and patient. Very sweet lady. Thank you!!!!!

One of the worst services places to get your garage door opener replacement. if i can give them negative stars i would. I called them on Thursday (10/13/2017) to schedule 3 openers to be replaced on Sunday (10/15/2017). I spoke to a lady who i explained that i have a RYOBI Garage Door opener which is relatively new in the garage space world, so i made it a point in the telephone conversation. The lady replied and said that it wouldn't be a problem (she put me on hold to speak to her "MANAGER"). I requested for a Sunday install which costed me an extra $25 dollars for each opener. The guy shows up on Sunday and and looks through the packaging. When looking through the packaging he didn't even glance at the installation manual (looked like a guy who didn't know what he was doing). 20 minutes into the installation he rings my door bell and tells me he has to leave because he has another garage door installation emergency. What professional service company does that? i called the company back and then they tell me something completely different like he's not technical enough to do the installation. So what that tells me is that there technician's sound like random people (people on you pick up on the streets) that don't have expertise in installing garage door openers. I don't recommend this company to anyone who is installing anything they sound like a scam

I called around 8:30 at night during a snow storm, garage door wouldn't open and we had to manually get our snow blower out. They answered right away and set up a next day appointment from 9-11, they were here from 9:15 to 10:15, now my garage door works. The technicians were quiet and didn't explain what was wrong or how much it would cost before they started working but in fairness I didn't ask. I wanted the door fixed quickly and for what I felt was a reasonable price, that's exactly what I got. They didn't try to sell me anything or offer additional, unnecessary services. I'm very pleased. The office staff was efficient. They got out here very quickly. I was not too impressed with the technician but he was fast on the job. We had to repair the entire door about 6 months later. Services Rendered: They repaired a garage door.

The installer came out on a day's notice. He replaced our broken garage door opener with a LiftMaster opener. He explained the installation (and what caused our old unit to break). He installed the new one in less than two hours. He also paid attention to little follow-up details, like programming our car's internal garage-door opener remote and installing light bulbs in the unit. I would definitely recommend them, and plan to buy a new garage door from them later this year. Services Rendered: He installed a LiftMaster garage door opener.

Quick response. No issues. Quick fix. Services Rendered: Wanted a simple fix of the bottom strip and they notified me that the springs were not correct for the door. The door was always very heavy to lift if disenguaged from motor. Springs were fixed quickly and door can now be lifted easily if electricity is off (no motor).

They were punctual. They came to the house, and I had already told them what was wrong with the door before they came to the house. When they got here everythign was working fine, but I told them that it would be fine one day and go bad the next. They charged me $70.00 to come out and told me that they would have to change the circuit breaker. They didn't have the circuit breaker in the van. 2-3 days later I had the same problem and had to wait again for them to come out. At that time they did change the circuit breaker. There ended up being nothing wrong with the circuit breaker. It was a faulty wire, but I had to pay for the circuit breaker before they found the wire. They didn't listen to me when I told them what was wrong. I did have to argue with them, because they were going to charge me again to come back. Services Rendered: I used Doors In Motion to fix my garage door.
