Google5Jacob provided outstanding garage door repair and servicing. He was professional, efficient, and got everything working perfectly. I highly recommend his services. He clearly explained the state of my 16 year old opener with wobbly chain drive. The wire on one side was also about to snap which could have resulted in costly repair down the road. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained the repair process clearly. The door now operates smoothly and quietly. Great workmanship, fair pricing, and excellent customer service from start to finish.

Google2Please avoid this company. This is my first negative review to write on Google, but I deem it important. Garage Door Doctor is a high-pressure sales company. The tech that came out was very nice, but it took over an hour for them to look at my broken garage door (others too 15 minutes max) and talked all about how good their parts were and how bad other companies are. Scare tactics were abundant. Rather than leaving and sending a quote they put me on speaker phone with a sales person that was like talking to a used car salesperson. They wanted me to make a decision right then. After telling them I needed time to think through it, I have received many texts from the sales person with various techniques to try to close the sale: better financing, discovering new ways to save me money, overstock inventory, and more. I hate being pressured into a big purchase. I am sure they would have done an excellent job, but they were clearly overpricing their product and are willing to engage in dishonest and high-pressure. The custom vans with loads of parts on-hand means a high overhead. So they charge more. I highly recommend looking for a smaller company. I did and I am very happy with the results and the price.

Google5Ben was phenomenal. He tried several times to sync up my 30 year old Craftsman with the original remote that just stopped working. But it turned out the wireless component was not receiving the message from the unit. I even purchased a new remote, and that did not sync up to the old unit either. The sensor must have just ceased to function. It might have burnt out. When I asked Ben for some price quotes on a new GDO, he presented to me a brochure that had a number of models with pictures and an explanation of their abilities. With prices already printed on the brochure for each one. So no picking a price out of thin air. After Ben installed everything and making sure all the devices connected to the new unit he had me check each one myself. He also set up my phone to sync up with the GDO --technology! And he was able to set up the new remote I had purchased for the old GDO to the new GDO. Ben is knowledgeable about the products his company is selling. He did mention that I could reschedule to think about what I wanted to do, in other words he did not pressure me, he always asked me what would work best for me. I will recommend him to others.

Google5When your garage door won't open and your car is in the garage, who would you call? So many businesses and you want it repaired right and quickly. Benjamin at the Garage Door Doctor came on a Sunday morning, assessed the problems and at least got my car out for me. He knew what he was doing and explained what I needed. Today (Monday) he returned with the new parts and got right back to fixing it. He was very confident and taught me about how a garage door really works. I am as pleased as can be. It did cost more than I would have thought but I am confident that I made the right choice. Excellent company.

Yelp5Highly recommend Garage Doctor for your garage door repair needs. The owner (Carlos) was responsive, respectful and knowledgeable. He came out promptly and gave us several options to address the issue. He ended up rebuilding our door's spring system with much better quality materials than the original for a fair price.
