    Great customer service, carts for bigger stuff are usually always inside ( drywall aisle and wood aisles) there is an employee in eye site all of the time when you're shopping and willing/educated on things you're looking for!

    Im not sure why stores in and around Detroit tend not to be maintained very well,products tend not to be in there place and just disorganized. Service also either non existent or just hard to receive. Again only in and around the city,the farther you get from there the better the overall experience is, I don't know, you tell me?

    This was the first and last time I will go to this location. I had two micro-aggressive/racist comments directed at me by two different employees. 1. Many of the workers greet you or ask if you need anything, which is fine. Got used to nodding in acknowledgement and going on my way. Walked by an older employee who I could tell was about to greet me. He looked at me, and said "Ni hao". For context, while I am Asian, I am not Chinese. He was definitely not Asian. Overall the guy was completely out of line to randomly guess at my ethnicity. I nodded at him before I processed what he said, but decided not to waste any of my time/energy on his racist comment. 2. Another younger employee passed by me later and asked if I needed any help. When I said yes, he said "oh you speak English!". He then continued saying that he saw me walking around and wasn't sure if he wanted to ask if I needed anything bc he didn't want to deal with the back and forth if I didn't speak English well. I ended the exchange as quickly as I could. He kept asking what I was working on, if there was anything else he could do, etc. and I could tell he didnt see his initial comments as rude at all. As grown adults, I wouldn't think that you need to be told to not be racist to customers, but maybe these two employees should be re-informed. Some thoughts should remain "inside thoughts". Keep your racism to yourself. Thanks.

    I had a great experience when I was looking for a gas valve and a brushing to hook up a new stove. I asked a clerk for assistance in locating the parts I needed. The gentleman walked me over to where The parts were located on the shelf. He located the bushing I needed. The gas valve unfortunately was out of stock. He was able to take one out of a package that was damaged (full gas hose assembly) and gave me the gas valve I needed. I later found out he was the store manager. I also witness him helping another customer and going over and above what his job was required by asking the customer to bring in whatever they were working on, and he would take care of it once they bought it to the store. This type of customer service is very rare and he saved me a lot of valuable time not having to go to another Home Depot store.

    Just left home depot and purchased a black 8ft table. Terrell helped me get the table onto a cart and brought it up to the register. When leaving I was assisted by Bryan who helped carry the table into my car. I am appreciative for how attentive and helpful the staff is. Thank you both. Hoping this review finds management well.
