I have use Russ's Overhead Doors for over forty years for have always been pleased with the service they have given me. I had them replace all three garage door for our home this past year and couldn't be more pleased. Have had them fix operators on my shop doors and lube them to function better and did a great job each time.

Similar experience that other residential customers are having in 2025. They installed our overhead garage door several years ago and were great to work with. Then at the end of this winter, our spring broke. Called and the first thing they asked was if we were residential or commercial. Warning bells went off and it was a sign of things to come. Sounds like residential customers are no longer wanted, based on the way we were treated. After getting on the schedule, they didn't show up the day they said they would. Foget getting a call the morning of with a time estimate. Be prepared to wait around all day, hoping you get lucky. Be prepared to go days of not being able to reach anyone and forget leaving a voicemail. They did fix my spring and bar. Price seemed high for what it was. However, they didn't even get the rollers greased right or something because about a week after the repairs the wheels started screeching. You could hear it in any room of the house and down the street anytime the door was opened or shut. Another month of multiple calls and no shows to finally get someone back out. Still not totally resolved and some screeching, but its tolerable. Its better than dealing with trying to get them back out.

We have had Russ's Overhead Doors do work on our garage doors several times over the years and have had great experiences with them. I am giving the company a low rating because now we need to replace our garage doors and have waited 12 weeks for a job that he told us would take "about 4 weeks" with no communication from him. We placed an order with him and paid him 50% down (over $5,000) at the end of October 2024. He told us it would be about 4 weeks. We are now at the end of February 2025 and have tried to call him 4 times this month. His office staff is very friendly and tell us that he is busy and they will pass the message on. The last time we called they even said he was there in the office on another call and he would get right back to us but we still have no communication other than a friendly person who says, "We will let him know you called." I wish I could say differently but our current experience is that the company's communication and follow through is poor.

The folks there are super friendly, I’ve gotten three doors from them and they have done a professional job of installing them. Had one little issue with tracking and Shane came right out to adjust it and everything has worked great since. I recommend them - fair prices, great people and quality work!

Installation and doors went well. However, the techs left a lot of garbage on my driveway (see attached picture), which i didn't notice until two tires on my car flattened several days later. I called Russ's and left a message, but no one returned my call. I called again several days later, spoke with someone, and sent pictures. A representative called back later that day, claiming that the screws in my tires were not theirs and took no responsibility. The doors and installation were great, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this company, inasmuch as they are unwilling to own their mistakes.

Nathan & Kamerin are gentlemen, very professional workers . Saw what was wrong & listened to myself as the customer & took what I told them and applied a better product to my door. Very fast & efficient company.

Beware... I wish these guys were more careful and detailed in their workmanship. Even after they left I had to adjust my garage door to make it work. Also, my serviceman was there for 50 minutes and billed me for 2 hours. I called and expressed concern about my bill to their secretary. After looking into it for three weeks she told me my serviceman was there for two hours counting drive time. The serviceman said he was 10 minutes away before he got there. I find that dishonest billing.

Deceptive pricing. I needed the springs replaced on my garage door. They were able to schedule me the same afternoon that I called, which was nice. Technician was at my house just under an hour. I was charged 2 hours of labor at a rate of $88/ hour. Was told I am charged for their shop time as well. Shop time for what? All labor that was done was done at my home.
