Google5I got new doors with Norwich Overhead Doors, and was absolutely delighted with the product and service. Larry worked with me to use the parts of the system that could still be used, only replacing what needed replacing. When I encountered a problem later, he came back and fixed it, even though it turned out not to be a problem he caused. I strongly recommend Norwich Overhead Doors to any homeowner who needs new garage doors.

Yelp5I have summoned Larry Benedict to rescue my malfunctioning garage door on three occasions, and all three times he immediately responded to my cry for help, he appeared at my doorstep within hours the same day or early in the morning the next day, he fixed the problem with ease and expertise and good cheer, and he charged me so little that I dared not ask for a senior citizen discount. Today, the Labor Day holiday, he outdid himself. I summoned him yesterday, a Sunday. He still arrived at 9:30am today, Labor Day. In no time at all he removed my bad motor unit and installed a good one, all while engaging in lively conversation. Great guy, great service, and great prices.

Yelp5Both our garage doors were running really rough lately and lubing them wasn't helping. Larry at Norwich Overhead Doors came on time and suggested what might be wrong, 2 options. He said he'd start with the first and then move on to the second, since they were probably the problem and were the least expensive options. He was right, and my doors are quieter than they have been in addition to closing well. The price was less than I'd expected and it only took him about 45 minutes to fix both doors. Very personable man and I loved that he didn't add other services just to raise the price.

Yelp1Im giving this place 1 star only because I have to. My father was purchasing a new garage door from them all the way back in August. We picked everything out and were happy about the price. He paid more than half of the door upfront, with the rest to be paid after install. Install would be middle of October we were told. Come November finally we received a call that some one would be calling back to set a install date. End of November my father calls trying to figure out what is going on, just for him to be put on hold, and transferred to different people never getting a real answer. Just told "Someone will call to set up an install date." Finally here we are January 2019 with NO garage door. After being put on hold again, and no one knowing what was going on with our new door, he asked for his money back. Today we get the check in the mail with still no explanation as to what happened with our door and no apologies. Would not recommend this place.
