Google1Beware of this business! The service technician does not give you an itemized bill when he has completed the work requested! Insist on one before you pay your bill! We called to set up an appointment and were told there was a $16.95 trip charge and a hourly rate of $103.00. We were never told that they charge you for the time to come to your house and the time to get to their next appointment after leaving your house. When we were emailed the bill later that evening, they charged us for 2 hours labor! The technician was only at our house 45 minutes! They charged us for 20 minutes to get to house which is only 7.5 miles away. It takes 12 minutes using the interstate….Then they charged us for another 20 minutes to get to their next appointment which was only 3 miles away! What’s really bad is that they are double dipping! We paid for the time for them to get to their next appointment and the next customer paid them also for the time it took them to get there! When I mentioned this to Stephanie she had no comment and couldn’t even look at me! For a company that’s been in business 100 years, this is a terrible way to do business! It was my first and last time using them! What’s even worse, we gave the technician a $20 tip to go have lunch!!! They said they might send me a refund for half an hour after talking to technician. I’m not holding my breath….

Google5I received 2 brand new springs and garage door openers from Overhead Doors. They were VERY REASONABLE PRICED!!! You have to wait a day or two for Miss Kathryn to get back to you, because they are extremely busy; she was “extremely friendly”!! Overhead uses their own parts, so they come with extended warranties. My garage doors are the smoothest and quietest opening I’ve ever had!!!! A+ EXCELLENT SERVICE.

Google1It took 121 days from first payment to completed install for three garage doors that were only supposed to take 21-35 days. The wait wasn't even the worst part; it was the total lack of communication from them. We had to call and ask their rude project management staff for updates nearly weekly. Eventually we were put in touch with the owner of the company after being completely dissatisfied with the timeline and lack of communication. While the owner was polite, he did nothing to speed of the process, provide explanations for the delay, or provide any sort of compensation for the mishandling of our project. Avoid this company like the plague. Although we like the eventual product we received, their lack of professionalism and incredible lag time in fulfilling our order literally left our garage unexpectedly door-less for months.

Google5Had a garage door come off the track. Same day service to get it repaired. The service department was polite and efficient. The Technician Dale was respectful, efficient and amazing! The work was reasonable. I will definitely use this company again! Thank you!

Google5We were quoted for a broken spring and a conversion kit. The tech, Dale, came out and was able to make repairs without exorbitant cost. He was very receptive to questions and explained his work. I'm very pleased with this service. They'll be my first call if ever a need comes up again.

Google1Your employees needs to be mindful and not block someone else's driveway when they are doing a job. Truck #41 was replacing my neighbors garage door, (22 Ferrarri Circle) and one of the trucks was blocking my driveway. The incident was at Clubhouse Manor, Martinsburg, WV on Friday, 12/1.( My address is 16 Ferrarri Circle. )

Google5HAGERSTOWN DOOR GUARANTEE!! One of the cables on our garage door tangled; we were HOPING it was under warranty. We called and Miss Kathryn, and she returned our call on the same day. Within 2 days, Mr. Dale came and replaced the cable (still under warranty), and was finished in under 30 minutes!!! He was very friendly and professional!!

Google5I recently had a broken spring repaired by them, the repair was a little on the pricey side but it was worth it for their rapid response and professionalism. They even put in a little extra time with me on the phone in order to make sure they came out with the correct parts the first time around.

Google5Needed a new garage door opener. Great reception during phone call. Worker arrived on time, very friendly, did a great job and total clean up of everything when done. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.
