Google5Had an older Wayne Dalton unit in our house that gave up one day and coupled with a very low ceiling height I was afraid our options would be limited on what could be done for a long term solution. Harold was able to come out quickly and took the time to figure out the right solution given the restraints. Payment was easy and we were able to get everything installed within 2 weeks (just had to wait for parts to come in). Was given the walk through at the end of the install on how the system works and the area worked on was spotless before he left. Very professional install, punctual, communicative and even greased the whole door as part of the work (super quiet now). I would highly recommend Five Star Garage to anyone needing a quality fix. Will be back when we decide to upgrade our door at a later date.

Google5We have a cabin in McKenzie Bridge, and when the motor for our garage door opener died, we contacted Harold at Five Star Garage Door Repair. Not only was he willing to make the hour drive upriver to diagnose and ultimately replace our unit (plus install new safety sensors and a keypad), he did so with amazing professionalism and friendliness. We weren't able to be there when he worked on the unit, but after having talked with him over the phone, I felt completely comfortable with him having access to the garage and doing the work without any oversight from me (not that he would have needed any). He even called me when he had completed the work and patiently walked me through every feature on the motor, remotes, and keypad. Harold also did some work for my neighbor and he too raved about his experience. Having a company called "Five Star" anything is pretty gutsy, but Harold backs it up...this is the kind of amazing service you hope to get from a small business owner, but rarely do.

Google5No doubt in my mind the Harold is well worth 5 stars. He has a wealth of experience and is committed to doing a thorough job. One of the springs broke on our 50 + year old doors. Harold did a full analysis of the condition of the doors and wrote up a quote. The wheels, pulleys, springs, and cables were all in bad shape. Once the job was completed it was obvious to me that I had waited too long to have the work done. The doors operate smoothly and quietly now so I am super pleased that we found Harold. I highly recommend him for anything to do with your garage doors. Kelly T.
