If you are reading this review save yourself headaches and GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY. Scott is a nice enough guy when he actually shows up but getting him to do so is extremely hard once he has your money. He was supposed to be here today before 2 PM so I rearranged my day to accommodate him (he had already canceled on me yesterday and I want this DONE). Well 2:00 is in 20 min and no surprise when I texted him to confirm he will be showing up he now says his helper has been exposed to Covid and he is working to find someone else to help him. No call/ text/ nothing sooner than this to let me know and keep me in the loop. His prices are no cheaper than any other company in town (I had more estimates done after I was concerned with it taking 6 weeks to get the door from the warehouse to start with). For the same price go with somewhere professional not individually owned by someone who will feed you excuses and be unreliable. Some people don’t have the discipline to be self employed and I feel this is the case with AAA-1. **update. Miraculously he did show up by 2:00 today with nobody to help him. He will install the opener today and when he finds help down the road install the actual door 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 Services Rendered: Full Door Replacement

THANK YOU Scott Hilliard from AAA1 Garage Door Services!!! You got here super early and got me out of a mess. The garage door has never operated better. I was grateful that you didn’t charge me extra for the very early morning call and that your costs were very affordable compared to the others that I called. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your service! Services Rendered: The spring broke and my car was stuck in the garage!

I thought I would have to pay and arm and a leg for a simple tune up of springs and door hinges-this being Fort Collins. He came and looked and tightened springs and stopped the door from bumping on its way down and up. Asked how much. He said he wouldn't charge for the brief time he spent. Previously he balanced the door and added a spring. That cost but not much comparatively. Services Rendered: Tune up on garage door

Came to replace our garage door when it started cracking in the middle. Offered fix options & was very up front about costs. Came within a few hours of calling on a Sunday! Answered call or called back quickly each time I called. Replaced door the next day. Highly recommend! Services Rendered: New garage door & opener

I paid Scott Hilliard, the owner of AAA 1 Garage Door Repair (aka Aaa1 garage door and also Triple A Garage Door) $9,900 (paid in advance and in full) back in March 2017. He always has an excuse of why I cannot get the garage doors due to medical issues. Other reviews have shown this same medical issue situation. I now have found out in August 2017 that the door manufacturer did not receive payment and they are now selling the doors for non-payment. There is no communication from this company person since letting him know that he owes me back the money I gave him ($9,900). He just stopped communicating since I called him out on this. MY THOUGHTS ARE DO NOT PAY HIM OR HIS COMPANY ANYTHING AND STAY AWAY FROM SUCH A BUSINESS PRACTICE OF TAKING MONEY WITH NOTHING IN RETURN! Do note, this person has formed two more companies with the Colorado Secretary of State's office this year, so not sure why someone would do this unless to get around poor reviews and the court system. Also, both companies have different addresses that he is using for his businesses, so be careful of this business. I just do not want anyone to get hurt like I did. I have had to purchase garage doors a second time with another garage company. Services Rendered: 3 new custom sized garage doors to be purchased and installed with the removal of existing garage doors.

Last summer AAA1 replaced the springs and opener on my very heavy wood door. The service could not have been better, and the door worked perfectly until this morning when the it failed to close evenly due to weather related issues of expansion and contraction. Scott arrived quickly and made the necessary adjustments so the door once again works perfectly. One thing I love about this company is that Scott actually answers the phone. Not only that, he stays in contact. On both occasions he has either been on time or early. He offers a thorough explanation of what he is doing and why. The "approximate cost of service" refers to the cost of the original work. There was no charge for the adjustments made today even though they were necessitated not by work Scott had done previously but by the way the door was originally installed. I highly recommend AAA1 Garage Door. Services Rendered: Replacement of springs and garage door opener

Over all the service was great. The rollers were replace and then the door was aligned. All points on the door were lubricated along with the door opener. This door has had numerous springs replaced in the past and other door tune-ups what I was quite pleased hat this was the first time I was informed that my opener was out of alignment. As soon as he pointed it out, I could see it myself. The garage door opener was then moved a few inches which made a significant difference to the operation of the door. I was prepared to be told that I needed additional work to be done, but actually was told that my door was in good shape for it's age. All the work was done under a deal for the garage tune-up and roller replacement. NOTE: This work was performed in Arizona and the primary office is in Colorado with a branch in the Phoenix area...so I added my review to the Colorado reviews. Services Rendered: Replace garage door rollers and have an overall door tune up.
