Google1***BEWARE*** {This Review Is WORTH The Time Reading} Reading this whole review will save you a lot of headache, time, and a lot of money. I am not sure how Cory has all of these 5 star reviews. I know that a-lot of places will have their employees, friends, and Family give good ⭐️ to give the company credibility. At first, i thought that Cory was an honest good worker because he did good on the small things that I initially had him do. However, when doing the bigger jobs is when the cracks started to show. I had Cory build me a deck. I am a single female and was not familiar about how a deck should be properly built (maybe that’s why he took advantage of me) So at first glance, the deck looked great. However, i started to see the flaws, but only noticed them after he was installing my new pre-made fence. Things started to go south when Cory took MOST OF THE MONEY UPFRONT, with a remaining balance of around $2,300 left to pay (according to him). It was VERY difficult to get Cory to finish the small fence for my backyard after he got my hefty check (he was chasing new money since he already had mine) He CONSTANTLY NO SHOWED, and I would have to CONSTANTLY call him about completing my small fence. It took Cory 2 MONTHS!!! to finish a 203 ft pre-made fence. Cory, also told me that the Lowes delivery for the materials was $5,070.28. He also said that he would have the lowes person email me the invoice, which I never received. I didn’t ask Cory for the Lowes Deck materials invoice, which is probably why he thought he could get away with overcharging me with the fence materials from Lowes. He didn’t think I’d ask. As time was getting longer, I kept asking Cory for the Lowes delivery invoice, which he said that Lowes was unable to print out the invoice, because it was past 30days. So, I went to Lowes myself and gave them the info, and they printed out the delivery invoice for me. My invoice was only $3,838, not $5,070. So, Cory lied. Cory knew that he would be caught over charging me. After he told me that it would be CHEAPER for me if HE ordered my fence. Because he gets a 15% Contractor discount from Lowe’s. Towards the end, I did need more lattice, and staples that came up to around $200. Cory was STILL charging me extra for that extra lattice knowing that he was already over charging me on the Lowe’s delivery, and making a $1200.00 profit off of the materials. I caught his scam before he got to totally screw me over. I have caught Cory in SO MANY lies. Cory, rarely puts a full days work in. As a result, his poor craftsmanship comes out, and the customers suffers for it. He also allows his personal life to affect his work, because he’s so distracted by it. Cory knows how to do a good job, but his incredible laziness, and his personal distractions are his downfall, not to mention all of his never-ending lies. The only thing I could say that Corey is ok for is, if you had something very simple for him to do, that he could do in a single day. Like, if you needed a light bulb changed. I definitely would not allow him to purchase any materials (without receipts), or have him do any big jobs. I would look closely at his work, and not pay him the money upfront, maybe pay him by the day. I won’t ever recommend Cory to anyone. I hope this review has saved other potential customers the time, headache, and the money. I really would hate for someone to experience what I had to experience with Hour Handyman (Cory). I am a really nice person, and Cory has mistaken my kindness for weakness. Cory, is “Supposed” to be a licensed contractor, so I expected a professional job. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive that. As evident in my photos. I could say so much more, but I believe that I made my point already. Cory is a scammer, he’s shady, a manipulator, a pathological Liar, not reliable, he’s VERY LAZY, and not a trustworthy person. Who comes off as a “good guy”, and that’s how he’ll get you… Response to “Owner’s” reply: ⬇️ You can only say that my accusations are “False”, but can’t actually prove that it is. Google5I had a front door that was sticking and couldn’t be opened. This left me with only the garage to get in and out of my house. Cory came over and changed the hinge quickly for a very reasonable price. I’ve loaded his phone number as a contact and will be calling him again for sure! Very happy with his work and responsiveness.

Google5Corey and Nick came out to repair my storm door that got ripped half way off during recent storms, and to install a ceiling fan. From initial request for a quote to work completion was less than 4 days, which is amazingly fast. They were very professional, and kept their work areas clean when they were complete. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the work performed. I would highly recommend Hour Handyman LLC.

Google5Cory built a deck for us at our new home!! We love the beautiful exterior space this has given our family. He took care of getting all the approvals and cleaned up the jobsite daily! When his workers called off sick he still showed up to get it done. We would absolutely recommend him!! We love our deck!

Google5I requested service to mount my TVs and sound bar. Corey responded very quickly and was able to add me to the calendar within a few days. Corey was very professional and did exceptional work. The TVs look incredible (all 4) and the sound bar was mounted just right. I will be using this company again in the future. Highly recommend.

Google5I called Corey because my garage door cable snapped. He came out one day and the next he came back and repaired it very quickly. I was so impressed with his friendly demeanor, his quickness of work. Just a pleasure to do business with him.

Google5I highly recommend Hour Handyman, LLC. Cory and his team were professional, detailed, and quick. His assistant is very responsive and relays communication well. They did a great job refreshing the front of my house. Powered washed, painted, installed door hardware, and installed a storm door. All very quickly and efficiently. We are very happy with the finished project.
