The garage project went very well, Ben did an excellent job making the garage look brand new. He communicated well when unforeseen things came up that went above and beyond his original quote. I was a little disappointed with the way the work site was left. I think they could of clean up a little better and put back the items they had taken out of the garage. I found items thrown over the fence in the backyard and under bushes. But overall I was very pleased with the work performed. The driveway project also went well. The cement work looks great. Once again I was disappointed with the way the site was left. I felt that the ruts between the grass and the new drive were larger than necessary and the fact that the sub-contractor threw away all of the perennials lining a fence was unnecessary. I think if it was communicated that was going to happen I would of dug them up and saved them. The good news - Ben did credit my bill so I had money to replace the plants that were destroyed along with coming out in the evening and filling all of the ruts and damaged lawn with top soil and grass seed at no cost. Services Rendered: Straighten garage and installed new garage door and siding (Remove old 16x7 overhead door. Use 2x10 spring braces to level garage. Frame new 9x7 overhead door opening in front wall. Install steel windbracing on all four exterior walls, with 4'x8'x1/2" OSB in front & back corners. Install Amarr door with two (2) archedglass panels Trim outside corners and door opening with pine, install new 6" beveled siding on new front wall) Also replace cement driveway and front and side door stoops along with three rows of new siding.
