Contacted Calder for a quote on residential garage doors after two other companies flaked out. Calder was able to coordinate a mutually convenient time to come out a check out the house. The existing doors were over 30 years old and needed to go. Price was very reasonable and they offered a variety of options. Decided to give them the business and the lead time was right on point. The install was smoothly scheduled and took only a few hours to get the job done. Definitely a strong recommendation. Should not have wasted weeks looking around and went with Calder from the start!

It went great. We got quotes from several garage door installers. Bill Johnson from Calder returned our call promptly and gave us a good quote. We decided to go with Calder and he ordered our doors and installed them promptly the day after they came in. He arrived first thing at 8:30 in the morning, installed the doors, removed and hauled away and disposed of the old doors. He did a wonderful job, the doors are of great quality, and look beautiful. I would definitely recommend and use Calder Door again. Services Rendered: Removed old garage doors and installed new ones.

I was happy with the service. Mr. Johnson responded to my calls when I left messages, and he made suggestions about which type of door he would recommend after I had a chance to review the options on the web sites he referred me to. He installs doors made by different companies, which was nice because I could choose between different color shades/finishes offered by the various manufacturers (we didn't go with the standard white). He provided a price quote quickly, and installed the door very soon after it was delivered to his business. He didn't try to sell me a garage door opener, since he said that my existing opener was still fine for use with the new door. I never actually met Mr. Johnson in person since all of our communication was done over the phone, but that wasn't a problem. I came home after work on the agreed upon installation day to find a nice new door with new tracks and metal trim around the inside edge of the door. It looked to be very professionally done and I think the price was reasonable, although we didn't get quotes from anyone else. Services Rendered: He replaced our old, wooden garage door with a new (wide) steel door with windows, and disposed of the old door.

It was great, they came the same day as I called and the repair was done in a very professional manner and at a very reasonable price. Services Rendered: Calder repaired our Garage Door. I was so pleased with how quickly they responded, their price and the quality of their service. The repairman was so professional. It was a pleasure to deal with them. I would highly recommend them.

I left a message and call was returned within a day's time. He was able to make estimate within 3 days of my call. He installed it in 3 weeks (delay due to ordering my specially sized door). He arrived with an assistant at the time he had planned. They were both incredibly respectful. He fixed my garage door 'eyes' free of charge and warned me of some holes they would be making due to new hardware. Lastly, he took off and re-did the trim a previous contractor had placed around the garage door entrance...making it nicer and more attractive. He did this for free (and asked for my approval first). He was great. Services Rendered: Had a garage door replaced with a new one.
