Google5As a couple in our mid-80s, married for 63 wonderful years, we recently needed some important home updates: replacing the railing on the right side of our upstairs staircase, installing a new railing on the left side, and swapping our old toilet for a new smart toilet on the first floor. This was our first time using Mr. Handyman, and we were genuinely impressed. The professionalism, attention to detail, and high quality of work exceeded our expectations. A special thank you goes to Peter, who handled every part of the project for us. He truly listened to what we wanted, took the time to understand our preferences, and worked closely with us to make sure everything was done exactly right. His respectful and patient approach made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. We now feel much safer and more comfortable in our home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to call Mr. Handyman again for any future projects. Highly recommend!

Google5Excellent, prompt, friendly service. They repaired a hole in the wall, fixed a few jamming door locks for us, and re installed a towel rack that pulled drywall out of the wall. (Thanks to my 9 year old attempting to Spider-Man himself up the wall.) Thank you Mr, Handyman for keeping our home in check! :) Shaun is great! Kind to my crazy kids and yet professional the whole time! 10/10

Google5Our service professional was Shaun Marinelli. He arrived timely and performed several tasks including: securing a loose railing, fixing a sticking storm door, and hanging shelves and pictures. He was pleasant and professional. We are pleased with the workmanship. In addition to Shaun, Leah who coordinated our appointment was also helpful and pleasant. I would use this service again and recommend it to family and friends.

Google5I had a great experience today with Kirk and Sorry can’t remember the other guy’s name 😊. They were prompt and professional and did great work efficiently. Kirk hung a number of pictures perfectly I really appreciated his attention to detail with measurements and placement. I would gladly hire them again for future projects!

Google5I highly recommend Handyman of Hartford. Professional, knowledgeable, and always pleasant. They showed up on time and ready to work. The job was completed on schedule and under budget. Job: Rebuilt entry door jam, replaced front door, and trim. Modified existing bath to accommodate handicap access to the shower without having to rip out our existing tub. Excellent work. We would hire again.

Google5Shawn was excellent. He was on time, courteous, skilled in his work and cleaned up after the job. He had to remove a new entry door that was previously installed incorrectly by another contractor. He documented all the issues and took pictures. He had to add several things that were missing like water membrane, caulking, sill plate pan, not to mention getting the door square and level the right way. We now feel like we have a reliable resource for other projects. Mr. Handyman has a extensive list of work they provide and give a one year workmanship warranty. Pricing is in line with today's contractor hourly rates. Thanks Shawn!

Google5The whole process from when I called you to the technician was smooth. Shawn came was awesome. Explain what had to be done and the cost ahead of time. Had the work completed when he said he would. Very personable, efficient, knowledgeable . He know my wife was handicap and made the stairs safe for her and everyone else. I have added Mr. Handyman to my contact if I needed anything done in the future. Great job!!👍

Kirk was the technician who worked on installing a brand new French door leading to the back deck. He picked up the door, stained it and installed it expertly. It’s a beautiful job. Thank you Kirk!!

Angi5David and Rick were pleasant, patient and professional. They arrived on time. They completed the work in less time than expected. The work was done to my satisfaction. They even went to the hardware store to get pieces that I requested and got the measurements and the cut accurately. I would hire them again. Services Rendered: They fixed my garage door, storm door, mailbox, large window blind, bathroom shelf with caulking and a few door handles.
