Our 30+ yrs old overhead garage door kept coming up and not closing. Contacted this company via Angie's List. Got a response from Alan within an hour or so, who came in later and diagnosed the issue: the motor unit was the culprit. He laid out options, I chose to replace the overhead opener unit altogether as there was no point fixing the old unit. The estimate for replacement (part and labor) was $399. Another guy came in as scheduled and performed the work. Overall, I was highly satisfied with professionalism, honest assessment, and quality work. Really appreciated a few additional services at no additional charge. The door works beautifully now. Solid "A" from a very picky customer! Services Rendered: Inspected garage door system. Replaced door opener, which included raising up the chain track channel. Tuned up the door. Replaced weatherstrip (my parts) Corrected sensors placement. Installed manual lock.

He suggested that I really only needed 1 panel but with a 10+ year old door, I decided to get a whole new garage door because I knew Allen was going to do a great job. Alex arrived on-time and did a good job solo. He cleaned up thoroughly and even took the time at the end of the job to help me program the new panel/remotes. Very pleased with the service provided. I was having some trouble with the sensor on my garage door. I called and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very nice and helpful. They sent a tech out who repaired my garage door and did a great job. My only complaint is that they advertise that they accept the check a pro $25 gift card, and when I asked the tech to apply the $25 discount he looked at me like I was crazy and told me he did not know anything about check a pro, or the gift card. This was disappointing, it sounds like they might need some more communication and training but I was very happy with the man I spoke with on the phone and the quality of the work completed. In less than 24 hours the door worked better than it had in 20 plus years. He replaced both springs so that they would be a matched set and then installed new rollers. He saw our door opener and said it was a very good model and he hooked it up and got it working like new. We used to have a noisy and difficult to operate garage door. We now have a very quiet and properly working garage door. Services Rendered: Spring broke on garage door. He replaced both springs, installed new rollers and even got the electric door opener to work properly. It had not worked in over 4 years!
