BBB1These folks installed springs and plate kit with one year warranty. Less than a month later, the door crashed down and was sitting crooked, requiring boarding up to keep animals out of the garage. The door also made awful noises when trying to use. We called them and they sent another guy who made adjustments that lasted about four days. For the past two weeks, the door couldnt be used at all, which is a real inconvenience. Over the last several weeks we have called them six times and they dont even call back. Weve talked with another company that will come out and fix our door for us. We will never deal with this company again. They might be cheaper than other companies, but we chose to deal with a company that returns our calls and fixes the door properly.

BBB1A total rip off. These guys are con artists. They installed the absolute cheapest, noisiest garage door opener that exists, and charged me a grand total of $730. When I called on the phone they quoted me $599 complete with installation. I had a coupon for 20% off the service call, but the repairman wouldn't accept it because he said they were already giving me "free installation." I found the garage door opener online and it costs retail about $200. If I was getting free installation then the total should have been $200. How did I end up paying $730 then? It didn't even come with a keypad, but they would sell me one for an additional $120. Don't hire these guys, they will rip you off.

BBB1Scheduled a repair with O'Brien. Waited all day for them to arrive. When I called, I got a response from the customer service rep that O'********************** 'called multiple times to confirm the arrival time and when they didn't get a response, rerouted the technician.' I checked my phone and I received one call from an unknown number, who left no message. Clearly, the technician did not want to come out that day. Get your service somewhere else folks, unless you have time to waste waiting for the arrival that will never happen

BBB1Poor customer service. I have been waiting over one (1) month for their ** Contractor License Number for our community paperwork. Called today. Was promised by Price I would receive a call back by 5:00pm today. No call. Still waiting. You decided if this is proper customer service

BBB1wish I could give zero. Charaged over $400 for useless 'work' . The opener motor needed to be replace. Easily diagnosed and replaced by another company.

BBB1This company is absolute trash. They charged $450 to replace the roller bearings on my garage. If you call around, this service should not cost more that $150. I even called this company, O'Brien, after the technician left and they even quoted me less than $150. A manager said he'd call me, that never happened. The repair didn't even fix my issue 100%.I have absolutely no trust in this company. I do not recommend. They should go out of business ASAP for scamming people like this.O'Brien states below to another customer review that "This comes from a place of honesty, integrity, and having our customers' best interest at heart." That is all BS! This company is dishonest scum.

BBB1Well they sent someone out finally for a maintenance check up- he said he usually installs doors and looked like a walking zombie- he then asked me for oil to lube the door, seriously he didnt have much left he said. I asked him to leave called company for 2 days and never returned my call.. I wouldnt let them touch or install a door for me

BBB1I have called the company on a few different occasions over the past year to have part for garage door repaired and light fixed without any response to service calls. Although agent claimed to submit these requests nothing was ever done. Our doors and light still have issues and our doors barely made it two years! It was a waste of an upgrade.

Google5Very prompt and communicative with service. Service representative Brian was cordial, polite, and executed all requested services really well. Despite a back order of parts, Brian went out of his way to obtain the part I needed when it was back ordered. And scheduling communication was great as well. Thanks all. I appreciate this great service. Thank you.

Google5The spring broke on our overhead garage door, and we needed to get the car out to get to the airport. O'Brien came out first thing the next morning and installed a new spring. Service was great and technician (Brian) was great to deal with.

Google4Technician was on time, called us prior to his arrival, admitted we had an unusual problem that he had not seen before, but had a solution. He had the necessary equipment on his truck for repairs and was done within the 20-minute estimated time for completion of the work.

Google1RUN- don't walk away from these people. Absolutely unreal, god awful experience. I made an appointment for Thursday 12/21 10-12 PM. After being presented with options for standard size garage door openers, I picked the nicest of the three- why not? Let's do it once and be done. The technician shows up at 11:40, a little late but okay. I've worked all kinds of roles and I own a small business myself- I get it. About 10 minutes later, the tech knocks on the door, and tells me the supply house gave him the wrong part. These things happen- I've lived it. Again, no big deal. He launches into a diatribe about how nylon rollers and a new spring would really make the best use of effort as mine are end of life. Awesome! Great- I'm in. Let's do it I say. This literally doubles the price, and I'm fine with that. Let's get it done. Another run to supply house anyway- $1,700 for the best, a lot but sure. Nice enough guy, works long days- I've been there. My day is shot. Says we'll meet again next day, Friday, 3 days before Christmas now. 3-6 PM. Cool- I'm in! Next day comes and goes- at the end of the window, I get a call from the lady at the office- a job ran long and they can come later, or first thing in the morning. Once again- I've lived it! A little irked because I've moved all my plans around, waited around for now a total of 7 hours, but man- have I ever been there! No problem whatsoever. Tomorrow it is, and no need to rush, 9 AM so the guy has some extra time- no need to run yourself into the ground. Up early, this time I don't bother getting the cars out of the garage and clearing the space, as I have the first two days as Im a little skeptical, and have two days sunk into this trying to be the easiest job of the day. 9AM-noon is the window. 9AM comes and goes, 10 AM comes and goes- I'm literally the first job of the day. The parts are standard size, completely off the shelf equipment I have seen at Menards for $200, and the remaining equipment they literally sold the need for to me. Maybe the supply house is backed up. I just got off the phone with the scheduler, who at no interval ever has communicated to me what's going on at 11AM. I have been fu*ked around for three solid days by these people and I'm done. In this time I could have done the job myself or found 6 qualified people who would do the work, for a fraction of the $1700 I was happy to pay. Understanding, patient, and a small business owner myself- I get it. To a point. At no point did the scheduler make any apology, offer any discount or concession- for what at this point should be an entirely free service. I can't imagine who they pay to write these reviews or what incentive they give em- because this place is bottom rung god awful, and I don't say that lightly. A multistate outfit out of Texas with franchises is not a small, family owned business, and near as I can tell that's what I got.

Google5Called And got scheduled in the next hour. Gave a very clear estimate and reason and alternatives. No pressure. Got parts and resolved next day within 24 hrs. Plus he ensured the door was lubricated to save the extra decibels of noise. Would definitely recomend. Shout out to Brian on a great job.

Google5O'Brien came out to take a look at my garage. The Tech is named Brian. He did a great job diagnosing the issue. The garage door kept sticking and causing a loud bang. He ended up changing the top brackets and basically said it was the alignment of the garage door. It was catching on the trim. Very happy customer. I would recommend them!

Google5Prompt, effective, and helpful. They provided prompt repair service for my garage door (actually offered same-day, but as it was Saturday when they called, I put them off till Monday). The tech was effective and replaced the broken door spring. I had a billing question and they were very helpful in resolving it as well.
