Angi1I had a double sided steel garage door and opener installed by this company. They used the lifter from the box instead of the apropriate one that is needed for a steel backed door. This caused the opener to rip off the top panel of the door. This happened less than a year from installation and when I tried to get it fixed by her she said that she filed for bankruptcy and was not responsible for the repair. Also prior to this incident the garage opener needed the belt tightened and reset limit. They charged me $90 for this and siad it was the fault of the installer. When I asked why do I have to pay for their mistake he said that it was not covered under the warranty. Worst company ever, and if they decide to start business again DO NOT USE THEM. Alos the reason why it took me so long to write a review, is because I just signed up for Angie's List today. Services Rendered: They installed a steel back garage door and garage opener.

Angi5The original installer of our replacement garage door opener (another company) said they couldn't install it without first replacing the springs that counterbalance the weight of the door. This firm was able to come out the next day after we called. Services Rendered: Replaced two torsion springs, and all the door rollers. Lubricated the rollers and channels

Angi4I called and received same-day service which was appreciated. I was given a time slot of 3pm-5pm and told the technician would call 30 mins. prior to arriving. At 4:45, I called the company's main phone number and got the answering machine. I then called the additional number posted on Angie's List and reached the receptionist. I asked if the technician would be out today. She said she hadn't heard from him in hours and would call him to double check. About 30 minutes later, the repair technician called me and said he was on his way. The technician tightened the springs, lubricated the chain, and adjusted the lifting power of the overhead motor. He was very professional and explained what he had done. He only charged us for labor since no new parts were needed. The whole job took about 30 minutes from the time the technician arrived. Services Rendered: Repaired overhead garage door, which was not working consistently.

Angi4The repairman was prompt and professional when adjusting and lubing our garage doors. One complaint, however: He wouldn t give a written itemized estimate for replacing some worn parts, such as the springs and wheels, just a lump sum of $500-plus. That made us hold off on the repair. Services Rendered: Adjusting and lubing our garage doors.

Angi5Telephone Contact: Responsive and helpful during telephone call, providing an upfront price quote for the service which was competitive with other local companies. Timeliness: Only issue was that the technician only had one spring of the proper type with him on the first visit (needed two), so we had to reschedule. Service was completed on rescheduled date with no further issues. Quality: Good quality parts and service. Technician inspected the condition of the door, rollers, and tracks, cautioned regarding lubrication of rollers, and verified door operation and raise/lower set points of the garage door opener. Price: Price quote of $161 for parts, labor, and visit matched the final invoice to the penny. Services Rendered: Replaced and torqued both coil springs on a two-car garage door.

Angi4Work was done well and quickly. Technician was nearly an hour late. Worse, he was dressed in a old T-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. Hardly a professional appearance even given today's low standards of dress. Services Rendered: Align garage door which was having problems closing.
