DON'T go with this company. 18 months moving into my new house, the bracket connecting the door to the wall came off. 2 months later the rails started coming off during operation. I contacted the company, the manager/owner is super rude, after sending a guy to check, told me I need to replace the whole door. I told them I am operating the door as normal and the issue is because of poor installation. Asked me to go talk to another door company, they are not liable after warranty. Even after multiple requests, would not even explain me what the issue is or why it's happening. I have seen other posts where others have the same issue, and they will not take any responsibility of their poor craftsmen ship. They are going to hear from my lawyer soon.

I've used Stewart Door on a couple of different occasions and they have always been great to work with. They show up on time, give a 30 min heads up, never try to sell me things I don't need, solid pricing, and the techs I've encountered are always friendly and helpful.

After getting the run around from several big box establishments with over-inflated quotes and pushy salesman trying to negotiate my signature, I turned to Stewart Doors and couldn't be more pleased! They converted my existing Wayne Dalton Torquemaster Plus system with a broken spring to a standard torsion spring system, and I am very happy with the overall experience. They were able to give me a VERY good no-hassle price over the phone, scheduled an appointment for the next day, gave me 30-minutes advanced notice so I could leave my office, and completed the conversion within ~20 minutes. The technicians were very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional and I couldn't recommend them more! I will definitely be using them again soon to convert the same system on my 3rd car garage. Don't waste your time with Garage Door Doctors (who quoted me a ludacris $2400 for the same work, btw). Give Stewart Door a call and they'll get you taken care of without breaking the bank.

Terrible! They installed my garage door incorrectly in 2021. A brace broke and almost fell on my car in March. They came out and “fixed” it in March and charged me a service fee. This week my door started bowing because one again they did it wrong and now I need a whole new garage door! They said they did not install it that way and have no record of “fixing “ it that way that their technicians wouldn’t do that. They quoted me $500 over what another company can put a new door in for! Run somewhere and do not give Jeff your business!!!!

My experience was great! I was treated well over the phone, they stood by their word on price and schedule. Ryan came out and installed the needed door panel and reset the tension springs and automatic door mechanism in less than 20 minutes. This company does what a successful company should; gives quality work at an affordable price and stands by their word and warranty. I don't understand all of the negative comments, but maybe it has something to do with the commentors and not the business.

Referred to them by my builder because I've been having issues with my garage door not wanting to close during daylight hours, which started when I moved in but has gotten progressively worse to the point I have to get out of the car and hold the button down to override the system. I had tried everything I could, adjusted the sensors, wiped them down, checked to make sure the wiring was good, so reached out to the builder and they said not covered by them, call the installer which was Stewart. First phone conversation the guy was very professional and friendly and made an appt for the next day. Service guy called 30 minutes prior to the appointment, asked what the issue was and I repeated what was going on. Different guy calls me afterwards to collect payment, charge was initially $150, asked what the issue was, said he didn't know, he was just calling to collect the money, would call me back. Called back, charge went up to $190 because service guy needed to use some "parts". Asked what the issue was, said it was the sun and he needed to extend the brackets. I questioned why the sun would cause this after two years and why it had progressively worsened over the two years. Said he didn't know, this just happens and the "sun moves around". Not the kind of customer experience I was hoping for.

DO NOT use these people. My builder used them to install our door and their door failed within TEN months!!! When we tried to get the builder to fix it (under warranty) they refused saying we didn’t “lube” the rails which they never told us before. I have never lived in a home where a door must be lubed and my doors have been operating for decades. If you use these guys may god help you.

First its only a start because they had to get it in order to receive a review! Horrible service and disrespectful SOB's the manager placed me on hold and contacted his sales rep in my face and stated that he was the one that did the previous job on my door which caused it break and he was going to say they aren't responsible. Once he click in on my call I told him I heard what he said and he began to studder and say his tech didn't do it and told me to call my builder. They repaired my door 5 times while it was under warranty just to keep breaking stuff then go to tell me it was 850.00 I wouldn't give they A$$ a hello or a goodbye let a-lone a dime of my money!!! They nice when they getting your money but A-holes when you catch on to there BS. I ask the tech why he didn't mention he was the one who worked on it previously he said he didn't remember. How in the h*** is that possible! *Update so clearly they are liars times two because they told my builder that the cords are completely missing which they are not, but now all of a sudden they can do the job for 530 instead of 850!!! I'm sure I wouldn't let yall work on my house if you paid me to do it! the manager is a lying sack of dog poop as well as the agent who wouldn't tell me his name and act like he didn't speak English until his boss got on the phone now he was more fluent than I was. Called on a Friday morning as our door would not close. We were told the serviceman in area would be contacted and we would receive a return call. It was a simple and quick door fix for a professional. Never heard from anyone even after 2 follow up calls to the office for a service update. Finally at apprx 3pm I spoke with the manager. He had no idea of the situation and really didn’t show any care about the lack of follow up, not did he seem to care that we would not be able to close the door over weekend with only ladies in the home. I have been referring this company for many years to my business customers and friends. They didn’t give any further consideration even after my many years of loyalty! The cold response to my needs was hurtful! There are plenty of garage door experts in the Houston area… Services Rendered: Adjust garage door so it would close.

I called the office at 3:30pm on Wednesday and they were able to fit me in the next day. Mike called me at 7am to see if it would be ok to be the first stop (perfect!!, so I could go into work and not have to come back home to meet him.). He arrived in about 20 minutes, had the part in his truck, and all was fixed by 8am. This was my second call to Stewart Doors. I will continue to call them for future repairs. Excellent from start to finish. I called Stewart Door around 4 PM on Wednesday night and was promised someone between 10 and 11 the next day. Around 8 AM, the repairperson called and said he'll be early, around 8:30, is that okay? Sure! He came, saw the problem and immediately set about to getting it repaired. When done, he came out and showed us what went wrong, how some parts simply don't last forever in the Houston climate, and how to better lubricate to have the parts he installed last longer. Nice, friendly, and so worried to take his shoes off to get through the house (we couldn't open the garage door from the outside, you see.) - A plus all around. We'll definitely keep calling Stewart and use them if we do ever replace our door, which we are considering. Services Rendered: Replaced a snapped spring, re-jigged the door and lubricated everything. All with a smile.
