Google5I was looking to have a overhead door installed on a large shed that I recently built. I was originally considering purchasing the door and track online and installing it myself. However, I crossed paths with Hudson Valley Overhead Doors on a project my company was doing for a repeat customer of ours, so I asked my client for his thoughts. He spoke very highly of their work and said their pricing was fair. Then within a few weeks I noticed they were installing a new garage door for my neighbor. After both of these events, I decided it was worth getting them out to at least provide a quote so I could compare this with the cost of doing it myself. They came right out within a day or two of me calling, gave me a clear understanding of my options and the pros and cons to different setups. They got a quote back to me within the same day with all of the specs I had requested. And I was thrilled to discover that their price, fully installed, was only about $500 more than the price I had received if I purchased the door and track myself. I decided for that difference it was absolutely worth it. There was a lead time of about 5 weeks, due to their schedule, but they came right out once it was my spot in the queue and completed the installation in a couple of hours. The door looks great and functions perfectly. I would highly recommend them to anybody who is in need of a new overhead door for a garage, shed or any other structure.

Google5Excellent service all around, from the start of the phone call that I placed with Lynn. She was so friendly and helpful, right from the start. We had our overhead garage door opener die after a thunder storm. The installer Chad was so professional and got the job done perfectly. He is a definitely an asset to the company. Google5We had a spring break on our 17 foot garage door trapping both our vehicles inside. The next day they temporarily repaired the door so we could get our vehicles out and order parts. They returned in three days (on a holiday)and completed the permanent repair. The men are very professional and friendly.

Google5We just had two Liftmaster garage door openers installed by Hudson Valley Overhead Doors. I worked with Lynn and Jeff to figure out what needed to be done on my end to get ready for the install. Chad and Jimmy showed up right on time and took no time to get both openers install. Both we very respectfully of my family and my home. Cleaned up when finished and explained about the openers operation. Couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Hudson Valley Overhead Doors !

Google5Had a great experience dealing with Hudson valley Overhead Doors. I've had them service my door in the past but this time was to install a new door. Lynn made the process so easy from measuring to ordering to the install. The installation tech Chad that came out was amazing.....he was meticulous about his work.He made installing this door look effortless. You just knew he was doing this a long time and enjoys what he's doing. Great company to deal with. Would highly recommend them.

The technician came to my house at the time he was expected, and the work was completed efficiently and perfectly. I also thought the rates were very reasonable. I highly recommend them for all of your garage door needs.

Angi5Scott, the owner, is excellent. He always makes time for his customers. Our Pad for our garage door opener simply stopped working. We called Scott. He made every effort to get to us to do the repair as quickly as possible. We have an extremely old Genie garage door opener system. But Scott came, fixed it, and reset the password. Scott does not try to sell us new equipment so that he can make more money. This is a rare trait for any business person. He told us that our system is old, but it is still useful. He has been very decent about helping us to save money where possible. Scott is an extremely honest, highly skilled professional with and exceptional work ethic. He is respectful, polite, easy to work with, and he looks out for his customers. We have used him many times in the past, and we are always extremely satisfied with his excellent work. I recommend him highly because of the quality of his work, his fair pricing, and his overall positive approach to his work and his customers. By the way that old Genie system that he repaired is working JUST GREAT. Services Rendered: Repair of outside pad for the electric garage door opener.

All work was done quickly and exactly as promised Services Rendered: 2 overhead garage door motors were replaced and a third was tuned up- the tune up was done for the $99.00 package offered through Angie's List - the 2 others that needed replacing were at a cost of $395. plus tax and I purchased remotes.
