Google1Kris came out to give a quote on a garage door and gave books or doors we asked did he have pics of ones he did just to cut the chase and give him a green light fast he goes well we have a website we asked to see it he said oh I don’t have service here for my phone to work then he was handed our phone then he goes oh we don’t have a website with them on it then after he left I told him how he was unprofessional and I had it on camera he never even text back I would say stay away

Google5D&D do a great job. They are very responsive to calls for service. The installation of new doors was great and there are no gaps in the door seal. I haven't had mice in my basement for the last two years since the replacement. The techs are super nice and patient with my smart home connected questions. Definitely get a battery backup for the door motor as Central Hudson service goes out multiple times each year. It was a pleasure to open the garage during a power outage on several occasions. They are there when you have a question and respond when you need help. Great company.

Google1We had D&D as a garage service company for 17 years. Since we moved into the area. It was great up until recently. We missed an appointment as we had an emergency and they still charged us because essentially they had to drive all the way. The maintenance service was terrible. Never really fixed anything and the garage doors were just as noisy and wobbly after the service. When you are a small business, your goal should be customer retention. You charged us over missed appointment but lost our business forever. And on top of that, the service went down the hill. Will not recommend this store to anyone that’s looking around.

Google5I recently purchased a house in Orange County, NY and needed to replace the old garage doors. D & D Doors was able to help guide me to the best doors for my needs and explain the pros and cons about the different door models and lifters, (unlike the company I had contacted first.) D & D contacted me when the doors came in and the new doors were installed a couple days later without any hassle or mess. They did a fantastic job and I look forward to working with them in the future! Thank you to Kristopher and the good people at D & D Doors!

The doors were the highest quality exactly as promised. And the installation team were great professionals and did an exceptional job. I give 5 stars!

Google5Quite simply, these guys are the best there is. I had a lightning strike recently which damaged the garage door openers to my house. I had done business previously with D&D, so I called them first and scheduled a service call. The technician came promptly, removed my old doors, and installed my new doors in under 4 hours….Everything was explained to me about their operation, and when a small issue surfaced, Chris, the owner, responded quickly, explained the problem, and offered an easy solution. He offered to send a technician immediately, but by then, I had fixed the issue, and now my new doors now function flawlessly…They are also priced very competitively and stand behind their work… Do not think twice about it….when you need new garage doors or service for existing ones, call D & D garage doors!

Google5We had an amazing experience with D&D. It started with our very firsts call. We spoke with Don and everything fell perfectly into place. They always should up on time, even earlier than expected. We had 2 doors replaced and their installers did a fantastic job. These guys over delivered and did an amazing job for us. We would highly recommend their services and not hesitate to call them int he future should we need anything.

Google5A terrific service experience. Another company I called wanted to charge me just to drive to my house! The guys at D&D Doors laughed at that. Best of all, D&D was able to take care of my problem the same day. The father and son team were friendly, polite, explained exactly what they were going to do, and broke down the price before they started. They worked quickly, but I could tell they were also meticulous about details. They took the time to go over the entire garage door system and when they left, I am convinced the garage door worked better today than it did when it was installed. It is a pleasure to find such great, local service providers.

Yelp1D & D wanted to charge me $700 to install a garage door opener for a single garage door or $400 for a customer provided door opener. I have one word....insane! So much for customer loyalty for 20 years. Home Depot installed and provided a unit for $350....problem solved!

Yelp5D & D Doors did a phenomenal job replacing my two garage doors. Pricing was fair and service was on point. They stayed late into the night to make sure the job was complete in one day and right. I plan on calling Don back to install another garage door opener for me soon. The one new unit I had him install is whisper quiet when compared to my older unit.

I have used them three times and have been very impressed with their service. They are accommodating to your schedule and they actually care about their customers. Best of all the service and sales people they send actually tell you how much they care about their business and their clients. Great Hudson Valley company!

Yelp5My garage door was off the hinges and would not close for about 3 feet at the bottom. I called my usual garage door company and they could not fit me in until the next day. I called D & D Doors at my neighbors recommendation. They promised to fit me in the same day and they did. The owner Don came out and had the door back on the hinges, in line and working in no time. Don also tuned it up so that it was the quietest that it has ever been and the price was lower than I expected (considering after all the damage I did hitting it with my trunk hatch up, big OOPS). I was so pleased with everything - that I Highly recommend you use them- they must be the best in the area! Lisa S

Yelp5Don the owner came out to asess my old garage door opener. Even though he got it working better I had him give me an estimate for a new garage door opener. He cut me a break and Don replaced it and went above and beyond a professional job. I would recommend D and D Doors to anyone who needs their service.
