Google5We are thrilled with our garage doors from Dutchess Overhead at our new build! The selection and design process was super simple. Expectations were clearly set on the timeline for the doors to arrive. We were told by many people to go here for our doors and we would definitely do so again!

Google5Everyone we talked to recommended Dutchess Overhead Doors for our new garage doors and they were right. We had such an enjoyable experience working with Dan to come up with the perfect design and setup. Dan was so helpful and communicative, which made the entire process feel fun and easy. The installation team came out and took care of everything quickly and in good spirits. We are so appreciative of DOD's professionalism as well as their cheerful and upbeat customer service. The doors are absolutely gorgeous and operate smoothly and soundlessly. We love them!!!

Google5From the day of the consultation to the day of the installation, it has been a pleasure working with the team. They took their time explaining everything on day 1, including discussing different options at different price points and other details. We opted for a modern aluminum glass door, a beautiful commercial grade product. My pictures barely do it justice. The process was AS SMOOTH AS IT GETS. We gained light and space in the garage and eliminated significant draft from the poor seal from the old door. Highly recommend.

Google5We could bot be happier with our experience with Dutchess Overhead Doors. Dan sold us the doors and answered all of our questions. The women in the office were very nice. Mike and Justin installed the doors and did an outstanding job. They showed up on time and when I explained that I could not stay home during the installation, they asked me the information they needed and left me at ease, advising me that they had it all under control. When I got home several hours later, I was very impressed with their work. My garage was cleaner than when I left and the doors were beautiful. The garage is about 15 degrees warmer now and the new openers are much quieter than I ever would have expected. The craftsmanship of these new doors is amazing and everything was installed and programmed perfectly. I am really impressed and I would definitely recommend Dutchess Overhead Doors to anyone who has a home with a garage.

Google5I had both garage doors replaced 9/2023. Their service and attention to quality work was outstanding. I had a very small dent in one of the sections and they volunteered to replace the section without me asking. They want their work to be without flaws. They have a great installation team!

Google5Top notch service! I needed a motor, chain, track and 2 doors repaired... Brian came out and was able to get everything worked out and fixed with no issues. He was awesome - both friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything about the job in detail as well as other options available before he started. When the job was done, the cost was very reasonable. I've also visited their store to get some equipment and the ladies there were very friendly and knowledgeable as well! If you need anything related to garage doors, I definitely recommend this company!

Yelp5Found that the garage door opener had stripped the plastic drive gears after 15 years of use. This is completely expected after so many years. Not having the time to repair myself, i sought out a reputable garage door repair service. The first conpany quoted ne $850 for replacement of entire opener and drive rail system. That seemed qyite high, so i reached out to Dutchess Overhead Doors. So glad I did! Jessica was terrific and very accomadating to all my questions. The price without viewing in person was approx. $550, much more on line i thought. They called the very next day and said they have an available time to come immediatly, instead of waiting a week, so I said sure. The technician, Dave Johnson, was also terrific. He was polite, explained everything he was doing, examined the existing installation and was very professional and efficient. Just an overall pleasant experience from the whole team. I would and will highly recommend Dutchess Overhead Doors!

I usually don't post reviews , but he was really down to earth and very knowledgeable with explaining the details of the repair needed to fix my garage door. Really Great interaction , honest and when you see Lief's approach with customers now you know why Dutchess overhead doors has been around in business for over 20 years. Thank you !

Yelp1I called for pricing and got one answer. Emailed her again to clarify and was ignored. The tech showed up and in reality it was $200 more. Complained and was basically told sorry, but too bad.

Yelp5Needed service on a garage door with broken spring . Professional phone service identifying problem and setting up appointment . Appointment was set for sometime early Friday afternoon with an expected phone call in am to confirm and tighten time frame. Received call in am as promised from serviceman Steve . He showed up exactly when he said he was going to . Polite , professional to deal with and he fixed issue.

Yelp5If there was 6 stars they'd get 6+ and so on. First, I do not understand these few negative reviews as they just do not make any sense. Kelly was the nicest customer Service Rep. I've ever spoken to. She was not only very helpful but kind and listened to what I needed. I had instant service from them which means a lot. The kind, helpful, respectful gentleman that Kelly dispatched to my house was Tony Molinaro. You couldn't get any nicer a person who could be more pleasant and helpful than Tony. When we bought the house, the builder purchased the doors from Dutchess Overhead Doors. The openers were installed after the fact. I never thought of calling DOD as I had a good "friend," who is no longer a friend, install my garage door opener. After a few years we had troubles with the door opener and door (the door was our fault as we hit it with the mower) and another very nice and helpful gentleman from DOD came. This entity works like I wish every entity would work; pleasant, clear, concise, honest, and quick. They fix the problems and they actually stay fixed, which is something I'm not used to. I will be selling the house and moving to Pennsylvania. I already know who I'm getting my new garage doors and installation from, DOD!! I was so happy to hear they go to Pennsylvania. They go to many areas most may not know about so ask. Their prices are also very reasonable unlike my "friend" who overcharged and left me with a few dangerous situations, one example is as follows: my "friend" did not cut the excess of the heavy duty metal bar that was sticking out and could have struck me and/or ruined my car and garage with just one contact. Nice friend! This kind tech from DOD came to fix another part of the door when he noticed this. He then cut the excess off and did not charge me. He also found a bunch of loose fittings, etc. that he tightened up and would not take a tip. If I could find him I'd send him a dinner gift certificate for a nice restaurant for sure. Like I said, I wish other entities would take a page or two or ten!! out of DOD's book of excellent customer service with professional techs who are no nonsense, pleasant and eager to help. Thank you DOD for being an upstanding company. I really don't get some of the negative reviews as they make no sense. I've had nothing but great experiences with DOD, and more than a few times. Yelp2An additional star because of the follow up from the owner, Dan. Dan seem interested in listening to the content of my complaint, Dan listened well and apologized. He went so far as to tell me that he accepted full responsibility for putting his team under a lot of pressure. I reminded him that we are all under a lot of pressure at work but the customer needs to be treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. Too late for my order; I wound up ordering a brand new custom door from his competitor, precision but I do believe that Dan will use this loss to improve his customer service. Hopefully, he will up customer service training. Most importantly, they can use the experience as a reminder that decades in business does not guarantee success.

Yelp5Excellent customer service! Called this morning at 7:30... friendly company rep answered the telephone. Gave them my details needed for a service call. They called back an hour later & scheduled a repair within the hour! They installed our doors 8 years ago.. definitely recommend them! Travis arrived as scheduled & made repair!

Yelp5Great experience! Called yesterday set up an appointment for today. They called in morning to let me know when they were coming. Short time later they called back and asked it they could come earlier. Technician was polite and did his work quickly. I don't know if it was a good price or not but all I know is the door didn't open and now it does! Thank you Dutchess OHD!

Yelp1Dutchess Overhead Doors has done an installation for me personally at my home as well as at my business - Salem Fence Co. I had called them on Thursday to have them come out to service the garage door at my business (which they installed). I was told they would be down on Friday, and no one showed or called. Now, its Monday, my garage door is still broken and when I called this morning and spoke with Jeff, he said he had tried calling me on Friday and was told that there was no one at my office with my name. Furthermore, he said that Dan would not service me because he has given me other quotes for future work and doesn't want to waste his time. In this day and age, this is not the way you want to stay in business.

Yelp5Just built a detached two car garage and needed two electric lifters installed. The sales process was easy and fast. They took a credit card over the phone and were onsite in 2 days! Did an excellent job and explained everything very well. Install was clean and good quality. To be expected as they are the largest installer in the area. You see their trucks everywhere.
